Description

Experience the perfect blend of comfort and nature in our beloved Bayside Haven. Delight in panoramic bay views through floor-to-ceiling windows, unwind on two expansive porches, and relish potential encounters with resident bald eagles, horseshoe crabs, dolphins, and diverse sea life in the unique ecosystem of the Delaware Bay. Above all, absorb the positive energy radiating from the mesmerizing sunsets, enriching your extraordinary escape. 20/25 min to Cape May, Stone Harbor, Avalon & Wildwood The space We have done extensive work to ensure our home is as environmentally safe as possible. Air quality specialists have professionally tested and fine-tuned our space and systems, ensuring that the air quality in the home is pristine. This is a true haven for us, a place that supports the health and well-being of our family and yours. We hope our home meets your needs and feels comfortable as you enjoy your time away. Guest access Everything is yours to use! We provide linens on the beds and towels for each guest, along with three air mattresses to accommodate additional sleeping arrangements. You'll also find eight beach chairs and eight beach tags for Cape May beaches. Other things to note The Delaware Bay serves as the largest spawning ground globally for horseshoe crabs, drawing them to it's beaches every May for egg-laying. Simultaneously, shorebirds, notably the endangered red knot, rely on these beaches as a crucial food source during their annual migration from South America to the Arctic. To sustain themselves for the arduous journey ahead, they must double their weight, a feat typically achieved from late May to early-mid June along the Delaware Bay shores, including ours. After enduring thousands of miles of travel and losing half their body weight, these birds require constant feeding over two weeks to regain the strength necessary for their onward journey. To protect this delicate ecosystem, beach access and swimming in the bay is pretty strictly prohibited during this critical period. We urge everyone to uphold good conservation practices and birding etiquette, refraining from any actions that may disturb the horseshoe crabs or birds. Our home offers a front-row seat to this incredible annual ritual. With our floor-to-ceiling windows and two beachside porches, you have the perfect vantage point to witness the amazing migration process and enjoy every sunset during this time. We offer a special discount of about 20% during these weeks for those wanting to experience this incredible event. Pricing on the calendar shows the discounted price.
