The front desk will place a temporary hold on your credit card due incidentals. Your credit card will also be used to pay local taxes of about $32/night and for any charges you bill to your room. Other things to note $225/week taxes paid a resort. Exact unit is assigned at check-in. Photos are generic; some of which were provided by the resort. Villas are very similar unit to unit but view quality may vary. Price is based on mountain view. If interested in ocean view, message me and I’ll adjust pricing for the view upgrade (~$100/night) if ocean view villas are available. I’m happy to place a high or low floor request for you. High floor request is recommended. Please note, Marriott will NOT guarantee requests. Requests made several months in advance will have a better chance at getting view request filled. Marriott classifies views into two categories. 1) Mountain View: some units may overlook a parking structures (low floors) while others may offer partial ocean/harbor views (high floor in Kona/Naia tower west-wings) or breathtaking views of the golf course (high floor Moana tower). 2) Ocean View: Some might have obstructed ocean views (floors 1-6) or side ocean views, while others may have direct panoramic ocean views. To ensure you receive all the same benefits as an owner; free parking, reduced occupancy taxes (~$225/week), and discount card; always refer yourself as a guest of the owner if prompted by the resort. Do not alert the resort that the reservation was made through Airbnb as the resort may interpret as commercial use of the accommodations which is against Marriott terms and conditions. Marriott has the right to cancel reservations that they view violate the commercial use condition. We simply assist owners recoup fees for reservations they cannot make. We do not assist owners who seek to run a business with their ownership. To add you as a guest on the reservation, our owners attest the transfer of the reservation was for non-commercial use. So remember, you are a Guest, not a Renter. By booking you agree to the following: 1. Host/Owner assumes zero liability for property loss or damages, and zero liability for injury or accidents in or about the premises during Guest’s vacation. 2. Host is not held responsible for unforeseeable circumstances affecting the resort including repairs and improvements. 3. Guest will provide a credit card at check in and takes responsibility for all incidental charges associated with their vacation for which additional fees are charged. 4. Guest shall use the Property in accordance with the rules and regulations of the resort and will pay for all repairs, replacements and damages caused by the acts or neglect of or his/her travel party.
