Our spacious and open layout is the perfect setting for a mid/large group or families looking to take in the ultimate New Orleans experience. Walk into your comfortable living area (complete with flatscreen TV) and into the full kitchen / dining area. Past the common spaces, make your way outside to your private backyard with ample seating. This modern home can sleep up to 10 guests comfortably. Each bedroom features plush linens and bedding, as well as cloud like mattresses. The bedroom configurations are as follows: Bedroom 1 (Downstairs Master): 1 King Bed with En Suite Bath Bedroom 2 (Upstairs Master): 1 King Bed Bedroom 3: 1 Queen Bed Bedroom 4: 1 Queen Bed Common Area: 2 Full Bath (1 Upstairs and 1 Downstairs) Please Note: As required by law in the City of New Orleans, there is a noise-monitoring device installed in the home. This device measures decibel levels only and does not record any audio. Tampering with or removing this device during your stay may result in a fine of $250, per city regulations, and we will receive a notification if the device is removed from the wall or turned off. You may also receive a message from us if noise levels exceed the threshold set by the city for short-term rental stays. From beautiful sights, taste bud tingling foods, and vibrant live music, who wouldn’t want to visit?! We recommend using public transportation, including streetcars, buses, Uber or Lyft during your stay. For another fun way to explore the area, try Blue Bikes, a ride sharing bike rental all around the city. Upon acceptance of your reservation, you will receive a welcome letter containing all of the information you need to access the home and ensure your stay is a memorable one! Algiers Point - "The Point" - is a cozy deeply-rooted blast from the past community with so many places to visit beginning with breakfast and throughout the evening with drinks and entertainment. The New Orleans/Algiers Ferry is across the street - YES, PRIME LOCATION - and operates 24 hours a day and drops you at the foot of the Downtown Harrah's Casino, River Walk, French Quarter and Aquarium. AND, YOU DON'T HAVE TO DRIVE OR UBER. (Note: Ferry has remained in operation but schedule times may change based on the City's assessment of Covid). Just a couple miles away is one of the most historic quant neighborhoods called Downtown Gretna with many more easily accessible restaurants, cafes, and neighborhood bars. Only a 10 minute drive across the Mississippi to New Orleans it is the perfect cozy historic town to relax and sit back in after returning from a belly-stuffed and music-filled day in the city. Everything is safe walking distance. Family-friendly with much green area for the children and your furry friends. Algiers Point is truly a hidden gem many don't even know exist. Only $49/adult for 3 days pass and less for the kiddies. Why rent and drive sober when you can ride safely & tipsy. Great for couples and groups who can't decide who's going to be the designated driver because nobody wants to be. ⚜ Uber/Lift is typically 15 to 20 minutes to foot of Canal Street and French Quarter. ⚜ The New Orleans Streetcar is one of the most famous and sought-after ways to ride through New Orleans. Whether you just want to bounce from one spot to the next or take the full ride down St. Charles Avenue to soak up the beautiful architecture, the New Orleans Streetcar is a local and tourist favorite. The standard one-way fare for the Streetcar or RTA bus is $1.25. Seniors & disabled persons pay $0.40. Standard rate transfers are $0.25, and free for seniors & disabled persons. Additionally, you can purchase 1 day, 3 day, 5 day and 31 day Jazzy Passes via the RTA mobile app.
