Oceanside condo with ocean and mountain views, remodelled with a modern design and intentionally decorated to create an elegant and comfortable holiday experience. The whole group will enjoy easy access to prime island attractions from this centrally located home. The space Situated on the southernmost point of Kauai, the home features coastline views stretching East and West. The home is in close proximity to Shipwrecks Beach, the Grand Hyatt, is conveniently situated to easily explore all Kauai has to offer, and is in proximity to some of the best restaurants and shopping on the southern part of the Island. There is one king bed in the master ensuite, one king bed that can be converted into two twin beds in the second ensuite bedroom, and a queen bed in the ocean view loft bedroom. The couch in the living room is located on the main floor and has a queen pull out sofa bed. The powder room bathroom is also located on first floor. At the time of confirming your booking, kindly advise us if you would prefer the second ensuite bed set up as a king or two twin beds. The main floor has a dining table with 4 chairs, a kitchen bar with 3 stools, and a large high table on the lanai with 6 tall chairs. The home is located within the Makahuena Resort and has shared features such as a pool, hot tub, BBQ, outdoor lounge chairs, and viewing areas. Otherwise the home’s amenities are private. The location is phenomenal and is within walking distance to some restaurants and shops but due to the layout of Kauai, a vehicle is certainly recommended in order to make the most of your holiday. There is a path from the condo to the ocean just a few meters from the property. There is also a path that goes from in front of the condo to Shipwrecks Beach and from there on to Mahalepu Beach Trails which is great for running, walking, biking, hiking, ect . 9 surf breaks are within a 5 minute radius of the property including Waiohai, Shipwrecks, Kapus, First Break, Left Left’s, PK’s and Centers. Shipwrecks, Kapus and Waiohai are visible from the propery making it convenient to observe the surf conditions throughout the day. Nearby activities include bike rentals, freediving/spearfishing , snorkelling, scuba diving, boat tours, and much more. When you are ready to adventure and explore, you will find the home provides easy access to the majestic north shore of Kauai in one direction or a scenic drive out to Waimea Canyon and Polihale Beach in the other direction. Kauai is the land of rainbows and you are sure to be greeted by many. It is also the perfect whale watching oasis in the winter months. Note that as per the two pictures in the listing, there is currently a construction project on the lot next door to the property which is affecting the original view. Although work only takes place during business hours and at times it can be a mild inconvenience, generally speaking, we do not find that the project takes away from the quality of the experience.
