EAST HONOLULU BETWEEN PAIKO LAGOON AND THE OCEAN. KOKO HEAD at one end of the beach DIAMOND HEAD at the other. Great for walking, fishing , beachcombing and splashing around but not really deep enough for serious swimming Our Dead End road winds up in a wildlife sanctuary. Trade Winds, privacy, quiet, and greenery make this location feels like an outer island but it is only 20 minutes to Waikiki and Downtown Honolulu. DOWNSTAIRS: free flowing open living room, with dining and office space, bedroom & bath, kitchen, another bathroom with outdoor shower. Indoor/outdoor feel in all areas with views. Outdoor eating areas are on a large lanai facing the lagoon and in the central courtyard. UPSTAIRS: spacious master bedroom & bath, queen bed, wide screen TV. Very cool and breezy - large windows - feels like a tree house.SEPARATE OUTSIDE LARGE STUDIO: 800 sq. ft. with 20 foot high ceilings and floor to ceiling screen windows and doors, private bath; good for another couple or older children.  THIS STUDIO SPACE IS ADA COMPLIANT. Guests have complete access to house and grounds if including separate Studio necessary for more than 2 people. A totally separate apt with its own entrance is occupied by a friend. We will be traveling in California, but reachable by e-mail or phone EAST HONOLULU BETWEEN PAIKO LAGOON AND THE OCEAN. KOKO HEAD at one end of the beach DIAMOND HEAD at the other. This is a unique older home and our permanent residence - not a vacation rental. It is in a great location and with great charm; however if your tastes run to a modern, minimal home with wall to wall carpeting and AC, it is not for you! I am an art collector/dealer and filmmaker with an array of eclectic collections in both Tribal and Contemporary art, books, etc. This is a unique older home and our permanent residence - not a vacation rental. For their care there is a sizable reduction in rent.
