Three bedrooms Four Blocks to Town and Harbor with parking

Description

New England Charm with a blend of old and new. New appliances, kitchen, bathroom, air conditioning, and heat, but the old is kept through art and the Cape structure—including the steep center stairs and upstairs bedrooms with eves. The first floor has a queen bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen, and two comfortable sitting rooms. The upstairs has a queen bedroom and a bedroom with two twins. The property contains three independent rentals: the Front House, the Middle House, and the Barn. The space Like many New England cape-style houses, the front door opens to a central staircase. It leads you upstairs to two bedrooms under the eves. The room on the right has a queen bed, and the second with two twins. The stairs are steep, not ladder steep, but still steep enough to comment on it with you. At the top of the stairs, the doorways are slightly shorter than standard, causing me to warn you to be aware so you don't bump your head. Both bedrooms are high in the middle of the room and have lovely windows for light and shades for the night. There is a railing on the right side of the staircase. At the bottom of the stairs are two living rooms on either side. Both have lovely conversational arrangements of coffee tables, swivel chairs, and couches. Let's call the living room on the right side of the house the television room. It opens to the kitchen, with an oval dining table acting as a room divider. Otherwise, the space is open, allowing cooking, chatting, and watching. The downstairs queen bedroom has a sitting chair, dresser, and a doorway that leads outside to the green space, giving light during the day. At night, there is a blackout shade and curtain for privacy. Of course, the door locks. The bathroom has a pebble-floored, glassed-in shower with beautiful art. The stackable washer and dryer are hidden outside of the washroom. Across the hall is a closet with an iron and ironing board, extra linens, and a space for hanging clothes. The whole house has air conditioning and heat. The second living room has a queen-sized pull-out sofa, two oversized chairs, and a basket-shaped coffee table. When pulled out, the sofa has a plug-in blow-up mattress, making it very comfortable. The windows let in great light and have blackout shades. If you go outside via the kitchen door, you will find a hallway with a shared closet and utility room. Recycling sorting, step stools, and cleaning tools live here. The yard is shared with The Middle House/Binnackle, which sleeps two people. Four Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, and a grill are outside. This outdoor space is open to the shelled driveway with your parking spot. There is space for locking bicycles. Your beach chairs and umbrella hang outside for you, and a small clothesline is perfect for the sandy towels. Guest access Guests can access the Front House using a key from the lockbox. The lock box is located on the corner board of the house on the driveway side. You can also find a lock box at the back of the house. Drive or walk down the shelled driveway and look to the left; you will see a grassed area, white Adirondack chairs, a grill, and a white picnic table. There are wooden steps hidden behind the picnic table. The lock box is on the left side of the entrance. This door is kept unlocked and opens to a hallway. The locked kitchen door to the Front House is on the right side of the hallway. (This hallway is small yet has many doors. On the right is the kitchen door to the front; there is a small storage closet with shared tools; on the left is a door that opens to a utility closet; and finally, the back kitchen door to The Middle House.) The door between the Middle and Front is unlocked and acts as a second safety exit for the Middle House. Please do not block this door, and keep the hallway doors unlocked. Other things to note Read and Agree - We have written out the contract with the Properties Rules to ensure all guests in the rentals are on the same page, and we have communicated clearly. - Please let us know if you have read these and have any questions or concerns. Please don't hesitate to contact us if something seems amiss. We want you to have a pleasant stay. - No flames or candles - No smoking anything on or in the property - Quiet Hours: 10 pm to 8 am - No Subleasing - No Pets on or in the property Shared Spaces on the Property The shared spaces are the shelled driveway, the owner's garage, and the trash boxes between the three rentals. The Front and The Middle share the hallway between the kitchen doors and the outside space. - There are three parking spots. Please let me know what kind of vehicle you have so I can assign the best spot. Depending on the circumstances, I may ask you to change the spot. - No blocking the driveway. 36 Union has the right away via the shelled driveway. - The storage and utility closets hold shared tools for the Front, Middle, and Owner. The hallway connecting the Middle and Front House - The Middle and Front each have lockable front and back doors—a hallway with a utility room and a storage closet separate the two. - The doors located inside this hallway are unlocked and act as a second exit for the Middle House. Please do not block or lock this door. This hallway's storage and utility closets hold shared tools for the Front, Middle, and Owner. Please do not allow children in the utility closet or garage. Outside Space -The outside is shared between the Middle and Front House. This includes Adirondack Chairs and a small Webber Grill. Fear of Animals - Due to a long-term guest request to honor their fear of animals, we ask guests not to bring their animals to the property or to host anyone else's. Long Term Stays - If you are staying long-term, please let us know if you are leaving the island. We will let our caretaker know in case of any weather. Internet - Comcast/Exfinity is our internet provider, but we do not have cable boxes to connect to live television. We use a Surf/Arries Router and Erro Modem. The Erro app allows me to see what is working and what is not in real-time and to reset it. - The white square box with white lights is the Erro Extender. If it comes unplugged, plug it in. The light will change colors until they are online again. Smart Televisions /No Cable Subscription - I have discovered that stating that we have smart televisions does not convey that we do not have a cable subscription. Guests have continued to watch their favorite shows and sports events by signing into their home Hulu, YouTube, and Peacock subscriptions or signing up for trials with FuBu or Tubi. Trash and Recyclable Sorting - This is critical on the island. If our cleaners and trash removal team have to touch your trash, you will be charged. - Nantucket's Trash and Recycling Sorting protocols are used to sort Compostable and Non-Compostable Trash. - Clean and sort the glass, plastic, tin, and cardboard into clear plastic bags. All trash and recycling must be placed in clear plastic bags. No loose trash may be thrown in the trash bins.
