Welcome! Walk up the stairs and into your comfortable space for one or two. Your living space includes a large, light-filled bedroom that looks out onto the treed yard open to the eat-in kitchen. Suitable for short-term or long-term stays. Convenient to highway access. Close to Fitchburg State University, Leominster, Wachusett Mountain. Our home is a vintage 1930s Cape Cod- old-fashioned fixtures and tile and pretty hardwoods, and a little quirky, too. You may hear the heat ticking or the refrigerator humming as you drift off to sleep. Sometimes the doors are a little sticky in their frames. The center of the kitchen is a New England heater stove. In addition to cooking, it was once used to heat the upstairs. It's fully functional on the cooktop, but not for baking. Have a pizza you need to bake? Knock on my door. The kitchen is furnished for light cooking: * pots and pans in the cabinet under the microwave * cutting boards and cooking utensils in the drawer next to the sink * a cutting knife and wine opener are stored with cutlery under the microwave Need something you don't see? Please ask. The toaster is stored with the pots and pans. The kitchen is stocked with coffee and a Keurig and herbal teas. There are dishes, coffee cups and glassware service for four. Additional kitchen towels are in the lower cabinet to the left of the kitchen sink. The hair dryer is under the bathroom sink. Paper towels, toilet paper and cleaning supplies are in the kitchen closet. Trash and recycling are next to the stove. If the trash fills up, please remove it, tie it off and put it by my kitchen door. There's a replacement bag at the bottom of the trashcan. We are in a quiet working-class neighborhood. You will see single and multi-family houses. Self check-in means you can come and go when you please. Contact me if you have any questions or problems checking in. I've been a resident of my city for a decade. I'm happy to give a recommendation for takeout, dinner, a hike, local brews or other amenities. I'm available via text, or knock on my door after work if you need something. This property is in a quiet, low traffic, working-class neighborhood, in a mix of single and multi-family homes. You are within walking distance of Park Hill Park, which boasts a skate park and bike park, and green space for walking. You are also within walking distance of the best bakery in our city. Washer/dryer are in the basement and are available to upon request.
