Make this small guest house your base camp for all your adventures. Whether skiing at nearby Discovery Ski Area in the winter or fishing our famed waterways in the summer, you will find respite in this one-bedroom studio-style tiny guest house in a quiet neighborhood in town just a 10-minute walk from downtown Philipsburg or a 3-minute walk to the town park. The guest house is a separate standalone unit but shares a yard and gate with the host's main house. As you enter the guest house, you will find a bedroom/living area with a queen bed, TV with Fire Stick, dresser and coat hooks. The back half of the house holds the kitchen equipped with a full-size stainless-steel sink, a coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, toaster oven, single burner hot plate, electric kettle, small crock pot, dishes, pots and pans, silverware, cooking utensils and other kitchen essentials. There are two chairs at a dining bar that looks into the bedroom/living area. The bathroom is off of the kitchen and has a shower and toilet, no tub. The sink for the bathroom is the kitchen sink next to the bathroom. Enjoy grilling on the porch on a warm summer evening while a breeze brings in refreshing smells of the lavender and rose bushes surrounding the house. A small charcoal grill, charcoal and grilling utensils are available. Guests will receive a code to access the front door to the guest house. Unless needed, we will not bother you during your stay. We do live in the main house next to the guest house, so you may see us, but don't feel obligated to interact with us unless you would like to or if you need anything. Located in a quiet neighborhood two blocks from the town park. Views of the Pintler mountains and Discovery Ski mountain can be seen as you walk around the neighborhood. It's also just a short drive or 10 minute walk to downtown for food or shopping. It is a shared lot with the host's main house next to it. Please note the guest house is a stand alone unit but does share a yard with the main host's house. We added a privacy fence for the guest house to provide separation and privacy, but we have two children and a dog that you may hear playing in the back yard at times. This is an absolutely no smoking property. No smoking is allowed in or near the house. Also for late summer bookings please note there is no air conditioning, but it does have four windows that open and a fan is provided.
