Comfortable Convenient Country Home

Our country home with 1 guest room and private bath is located in South County. Minutes away from Butternut Basin Ski Area, Tanglewood and all of the cultural offerings, swimming, hiking, biking, auto racing as well as award winning 5 star dining. The space The home is a set in a comfortable country setting with a great fireplace for those chilly winter days. Plus, a nice deck to sit and relax on overlooking a hemlock grove and stream during the warmer seasons. This listing is for the downstairs bedroom of the house. This room features a double bed as well as a private bathroom. In addition there is a futon available should it be needed. Guest access Guests are welcome to share the living room, kitchen and dining area as well as the deck and outside gas grill. There is a washer and dryer available for longer stays. During your stay Due to the fact that it is my home as well there will be some interaction with guests. The choice is up to the guest. My job is to share what we have to offer and to make your stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible. *Please note I do have a cat and Smokey is willing to share a space on the futon anytime for a scratch behind the ears. Other things to note My home has a futon available if the need arises. There would be an additional charge per night. I am available to take people on tours and out for excursions should you wish to have that as an added benefit. Picnics at Tanglewood, hikes and more... Families are welcome however we are not baby safe.
