Private Room with private entrance
Private Room with private entrance
Description
Traditional New Orleans double located at the beginning of two streetcar lines. You can ride the streetcar straight to the parade route or the French Quarter. Close to parks, the zoo as well as Tulane & Loyola Universities. You have a private entrance, full kitchen privileges, washer/dryer, and a shared bathroom. A shotgun is a house where access to each room is through each room. (BATHROOM ACCESS IS THROUGH THE ROOM). Every effort will be made to respect your privacy. The space Stay in a traditional New Orleans double with 12 foot ceiling and New Orleans charm. There is large backyard with a hammock, fire pits and SS Barbecue for grilling if you just want to chill. A grocery store is within walking distance as well as two cafes. Hop on the streetcar and travel down Carrollton for a variety of restaurants and bars. Hop on again and go all the way into the city while seeing the magnificent Antebellum homes that line St. Charles Ave. Easy access via two streetcar lines for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest or the French Quarter without being in the congestion of city for such events. Easy in and easy out make my location perfect for New Orleans visitors. Guest access Guests will have full access to the kitchen and the guest room as well as the back yard/garden. There is a closet with a lock if you wish to secure your property with you having the only key. Free Netflix and WiFi as well. Guests are welcome to coffee or tea. Guests have a private entrance so you do not have to worry about disturbing me when you come in late at night. Because I have to pass through the room to use the restroom, I take care of all my needs when my guests are out of the house. If the guest is in I will make every effort to respect your privacy in using the restroom. During your stay I am available if my guests want to ask questions or get suggestions about the city. I will chit chat with you but I try to give you your space so that you do not feel obligated to maintain a long conversation. If I am in the backyard I have no problems sharing my fire with my guests but the hammock is mine :) Other things to note If my guest have there on car please talk to me about parking and driving in the city. We have some very strange rules around here and I would hate to see my guests get a ticket or be towed.
