Built in the 1900's by a renowned local architect who sought to fuse modern (for the time!) elegance and rustic charm, the house was designed as a retreat for artists, writers and thinkers. It's sprawling grounds offer stunning views of lush green valleys and distant peaks, while the interior features grand fireplaces, cozy reading nooks, and large windows that invite the natural world inside. Guests can spread-out across two houses (*and an airstream if requested, nestled into the forest), and have private access to a heated pool.
