The space Welcome to Lally’s House, our spacious and stylish 3 bedroom apartment tucked into one of Salem’s historic neighborhoods, just steps from downtown Salem. Spend your days exploring witchy shops, museums, cafés, waterfront streets, and historic sites before coming home to relax in a space full of character, comfort, and Salem charm. With free one car parking (& free street parking with the exception of October) and easy train access to Boston, our apartment is the perfect home base for a weekend getaway, family trip, or group stay. Walk to Salem’s Top Attractions One of the best parts about staying here is the location. You can leave the car behind and easily explore the city on foot. We are within walking distance of some of Salem’s most popular attractions, including: • Salem Witch Museum • Peabody Essex Museum • The House of the Seven Gables • Salem Common You will also be just minutes from local restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, nightlife, and some of Salem’s most iconic streets and waterfront areas. Inside you will find bold artwork, vintage games, tarot cards, and preserved historic details that give the apartment its own charm and atmosphere. You will also find playful Halloween and vintage horror inspired touches throughout the space that celebrate Salem’s iconic character. Easy Access to Boston If you would like to explore beyond Salem, the nearby train station makes it easy to reach downtown Boston in about 30 minutes while still enjoying the charm and slower pace of staying on the North Shore. To help keep the apartment clean and comfortable for all guests, we kindly ask that shoes are removed while inside the home. Thank you for helping us care for the space during your stay. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Parties and events are not permitted. Because Salem has strict short term rental regulations, only registered guests are permitted on the property. The maximum occupancy is 7 guests, and an additional fee applies for the seventh guest. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with these house rules. Families are welcome. The home is best suited for older children, around age 9 and up, who are comfortable in a space not designed for active play. If you are traveling with one non crawling infant, feel free to inquire before booking. Guest access You will have contactless check in and check out for your convenience. We do have two exterior cameras on the home, one being the ring doorbell at the front entrance and the second at the side entrance of our home/unit - - There are absolutely no interior cameras. The exterior cameras are for security purposes since we live in a heavily dense location. ** Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate early check-in’s, late check-out’s or luggage drop off at this time. If you need this accommodation, we would suggest booking at one of the local hotels. We have also done some research and found that the UPS store in Salem offers luggage storage through a third party called Bounce (you can download the app for service). Thank you! Other things to note My family and I live in the first floor apartment with our dog, George. Unfortunately, you will not have access to the small backyard as this is George's sanctuary. There is an emergency egress from your kitchen that will lead to the backyard if there is ever an emergency. Although, we are close to all of the action, the house itself is in a quiet neighborhood. We encourage you to enjoy the entertainment and night life Salem has to offer & return for some “chill”/relaxation time. If you have any questions please feel free to connect with us!
