Description
Our home is nestled halfway between City Park and the French Quarter. You'll be able to get around conveniently by bicycle, streetcar or a rideshare service. It's perfect if you're looking to experience a New Orleans neighborhood and interested in sharing communal space with us (though you'll have a private room and bathroom). PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately we do not accept guests without previous and/or positive past reviews. My license number with the City is 17STR-19230. The space We are converting the large backyard to an urban garden that will supply our household and neighbors with fresh vegetables, fruit and cut flowers. Currently, we sell microgreens and edible flowers to chefs around the city, and herbs and cut flowers through a CSA-type food hub. Also-- I got this question the other day-- we don't have a TV in the house. However, we do have a high-speed internet connection and if you bring a laptop you'll have no problem watching Netflix or videos online. Guest access You'll have access to a private bedroom and bathroom. Communal spaces (living room and kitchen) will be shared with two housemates (my boyfriend Robby and me). We're happy to share ingredients for your meals-- coffee, eggs, and fresh vegetables from the garden. During your stay I can be as involved as you like. I have traveled extensively in the past ten years to countries as diverse as the Fiji Islands, Bangladesh, and Kenya. I am proud to call New Orleans home and want to share this enchanting city with visitors. I'd love to share tips on where to eat and the best music clubs in town. Other things to note Our relationships with our neighbors is very important to us. If you're courteous of others, enjoy chatting up the people you live next to, and don't expect to bring a loud party home with you, this is a great fit. Registration details 17STR-19230
