Feel the ocean breeze from the screened in porch of this charming cottage. Located in the historic ‘Campground’ area, stroll with your family and friends while enjoying the Victorian seaside architecture against a backdrop of blue hydrangeas and Cape Cod Roses. The space Pet friendly rental. Whale’s Tale is ideal for anyone who is seeking relaxation and Cape Cod fun. A short 5 minute walk to the private Ocean Ave Beach and to quaint downtown Harwich Port that offers restaurants, a juice bar, coffee shops and shopping. Every Wednesday night in July and August enjoy ‘Port Summer Nights’ where you can find art, dining, music and shopping that is fun for the entire family. With the warmer water and gentle waves, the kids are sure to enjoy swimming and playing while the adults lay back and relax on the soft, sandy beach of Nantucket Sound. Enter through the bright screened in porch perfect for afternoon naps, family game nights or unwind with a glass of wine. Open the door into the living room filled with coastal furniture/décor, 40 inch HD TV and WiFi. Off the living room you will find three (3) air conditioned bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, ceiling fans, blackout curtains and one bedroom with a wall mounted 28 inch HD Flat Screen TV. Just beyond the living area is the fully equipped kitchen, which includes granite counter tops, a dishwasher and high efficiency full sized stacked washer/dryer. The kitchen flows nicely into a dining area that seats six (6). Perfect spot to enjoy family dinners after a fun filled day on the beach. The bathroom is located just off the dining area boasting a renovated shower with pebble floor. Out the back door, you will find a small yard which is fully fenced in for your enjoyment and that of your pets. A patio with seating for six (6), gas grill, new enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water, and updated landscape. Four (4) Adirondack chairs surround a propane firepit and string lights that creates the perfect evening ambiance for smores, drinks and conversation by the fire. You are sure to fall in Love with this special spot and make memories for a lifetime! Note: There is an electronic door lock on the front door. Guest will have a code for easy access. Parking for two (2) cars maximum. Standard pack and play can fit in each bedroom. BED LINEN / TOWELS Bed Linen/Towels are not provided. We provide two (2) standard pillows and a light duvet cover with each Queen bed. There are extra pillows in each room, no extra blankets. PAPER PRODUCTS/BATHROOM SUPPLIES Toilet paper, paper towel roll, and hand soap in the kitchen and bathroom will be provided upon arrival. Guests are responsible for purchasing their own refills if they run out during the stay. PETS Please clean up after your pet. Please use a doggy poop bag when in the yard and walking around the neighborhood. The dog bags should only be disposed of in the outside trash cans. If you have a pet that sheds and there is excessive fur throughout the house after you checkout, an additional cleaning fee may be charged. Two in the front monitoring the parking / front door and one in the back monitoring the back door. Video Surveillance cameras monitor the exterior of our home. Footage remains private and may be used for liability reasons and to monitor occupancy and other policies noted here. It in no way infringes upon the expectation of privacy in these public areas. To disable or obscure the cameras is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund.
