This stunning compound features 6 BR 5.5 Bath with heated pool, hot tub, fireplaces. The space Located on the main level, a large gourmet kitchen opens to a bright family room with working fireplace. Both of these areas have vintage wood beam ceilings. A living room, dining room, each with its own fireplace, wood paneled media room and office completes the first floor. There are four bedrooms and three baths on the second floor. Two of these bedrooms have french doors that lead to a second floor balcony. On the third floor, you will find a large sunny bedroom / play area along with a private bath. Separate from the main house is a detached one bedroom carriage house with full bath. This private and serene urban compound located in the heart of historic Edgartown Village is impeccably landscaped with a heated pool and hot tub. This designer decorated Grecian Revival homes hosts 6 bedroom 5.5 bath and includes a detached guest carriage house. Bedroom and bathroom configurations: Four of the bedrooms have private, full ensuite baths. Two of them share an adjacent hall bathroom MAIN HOUSE #1 – Primary bedroom features a king size bed and full ensuite bath - 2nd Floor #2 - Bedroom features a king size bed and shared full bath - 2nd Floor #3 - Bedroom features a queen size bed and a full ensuite bath - 2nd Floor #4 - Bedroom features two twins (trundle style bed ~ second mattress pulls out if needed) and shared full bath - 2nd Floor #5 - Bedroom features two twins (trundle style bed ~ second mattress pulls out if needed) and full ensuite bath - 3rd Floor #6 - Bedroom Suite features a king size bed and full ensuite bath – Carriage House Guest access This luxurious escape includes the entire compound, main house, carriage house, pool and hot tub. HEATING THE POOL – IMPORTANT INFORMATION The pool heater runs off a thermostat that you can set to a desired temperature and it will be maintained automatically. (In other words the heater will turn on and off as needed to maintain that temperature.) The amount of propane consumed will depend upon the air temperature and your temperature settings.  You can select between the pool or the hot tub but they don't both heat at the same time. It’s important that you inform your other guests of how this works so they are careful and aware not to leave the heater on longer than needed.  It only shuts off when you shut it off.  Any propane charges during your stay are additional and will be solely based upon your usage as we record the propane in the tank at the time of your arrival and then after you leave.  Let’s keep our fingers crossed for lovely warm weather so you won’t even need to turn it on. Other things to note Please note: The cost of propane to heat the pool and hot tub is NOT included in the rental rate and will be charged at a cost of $50 per day while these amenities are open. General Cleaning Standards for 47 Cooke Street We strive to give our Martha’s Vineyard guests the ultimate luxury rental experience we have implemented protocols to ensure that our property meets the highest hygiene requirements to ensure the comfort and safety of our visitors. Our property is professionally cleaned before each turnover by a cleaning company that has worked with us for many years. They are familiar with our home and protocols. Our rigorous cleaning and disinfection practices give special attention to all high touch surfaces such as light switches, railings, doorknobs, handles, remote controls, faucets, thermostats and touch screens, etc. All linens (bed sheets, towels, and blankets etc) are washed and dried at the highest heat setting recommended by the manufacturer. Disinfectants, detergents, hand soap, hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies are available onsite. * Additional mid-stay cleaning is available upon advanced request. Extra-person charges may apply and vary depending on property policy. Government-issued photo identification and a credit card, debit card, or cash deposit may be required at check-in for incidental charges. Special requests are subject to availability upon check-in and may incur additional charges; special requests cannot be guaranteed. Onsite parties or group events are strictly prohibited.
