Unit: Kihei Resort 209 | Maui Guidebook Kihei Resort 209 is a great condo for folks looking to escape the crowded resorts, but still be located minutes from the best beaches in Maui. Committed To Clean We’re committed to enhanced cleaning protocols developed in partnership with experts in health and hospitality. Here’s what we’re doing to clean and sanitize: We use cleaners and disinfectants effective against COVID-19. We thoroughly check each room using extensive cleaning checklists developed by experts. Cleaning supplies are stocked for you so you can clean as you stay. All high-touch surfaces are double-checked to have been cleaned and sanitized. Centrally located and within walking distance to two beaches. The complex is surrounded by gardens, and is totally non-touristy and low-key. The unit itself is clean and comfortable, and the remodel included loads of brand new items besides the furniture, paint, fixtures and carpet – you will find all new linens, towels, dishes, small kitchen appliances, TV, ceiling fans, beach accessories, and the list goes on. The unit is set well off of South Kihei Road, so you don’t have the street noise units along the roadside have. Parking is reserved and a short walk through lush tropical gardens to the unit. This family friendly unit can sleep 6 comfortably. The master bedroom is the loft-style found commonly in Maui, and is air conditioned. The master bedroom is de spacious and includes a bathroom and king bed. The second bedroom is downstairs and has a queen bed. The living room includes a pull out sleeper sofa with queen bed. Each bedroom has an AC unit as well as the living room. Fully private 2BR/2BA condo for your use! Beaches Across the Street There are two beaches across the street that are both off the radar of most visitors. Waipu’ilani Beach is a long white sand and coral beach protected by reef. Kalepolepo Beach Park, to the north is uncrowded and is the site of the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary learning center. It is also home to culturally significant and the most accessible ancient Hawaiian fishpond in Maui. Both are great beaches of convenience for when you want to escape crowds, have dinner or drinks while you watch the sunset, or strike up a down-to-earth conversation with a local family. Maui is so diverse and spread out, so we do recommend renting a car to access the attractions all over the island! *Please Note: There is an additional 17.41% Hawaii State Tax charge not included in the airbnb quote.
