Ours is a cozy, private 2 bedroom and living room suite in an antique garden cottage with private bath and entrance and on site parking. It is attached to our home but is a separate private space with no shared living areas and its own patio English Garden. It is a short walk to beaches, shops, restaurants, bars, historic sites and galleries. The suite has a small breakfast table, microwave, minifrig, Keurig, electric kettle & toaster, but not a full kitchen. Looking for a taste of old Marblehead? Find it in our charming antique seaside cottage with wide pine floors next to a cozy English Garden with a stone fountain and wall of ivy. Guests enjoy private use of the front entrance, a private living room with breakfast nook, 1 downstair bedroom overlooking the garden and fountain, 1 sunny upstairs bedroom with skylight and view of historic Redd's Pond, and a private bath with shower. We have the best location in town as it is a short walk to 2 beaches, Historic Old Town, numerous restaurants and the Atlantic Ave shopping area. There is parking for one car on site. We are within walking distance to restaurants, bars, historic sites, beaches and galleries. There is one driveway parking space for guest use, and on street parking as well. This is an extremely central and convenient location to all Marblehead has to offer, as well as a close proximity to Salem by car or bike. We are here to help you with what ever you need, but if you want some privacy, this is your place. Our home is conveniently located in the historic and charming part of Old Marblehead, within walking distance to historical sites, beaches, restaurants and shopping. We are a few doors down from the scenic Redd's Pond, named after the first witch to be persecuted during the Salem witch trials. Adjacent Burial Hill boasts 200+ year old tombstones and is in the top ten most haunted cemeteries in the US and well as a shooting site in the film, Hocus Pocus. Climb the hill and you will enjoy a panoramic view of Marblehead Harbor and the Cape Ann coastline. It is a short stroll down to both Grace Oliver and Gas House Beaches where at low tide you can walk out to Gerry and Crowninshield Islands. If you want to hike in the woods, we are 2 blocks from conservation land walking trails maintained by the Trustees of Reservation. Leave your car safely parked in the driveway as you can walk to restaurants, bars, 2 Historic Mansions, art galleries and great shopping in Old Town. We have tons of Maps to help you get around on foot, bike or car. If you are heading into Boston, there is a bus stop at the end of the street and the commuter rail station is just a few miles away and has parking. If you like biking, we are 3/4 of a mile from a woodland bike trial that connects Marblehead to Salem. We want you to enjoy your time here and not worry about the details, so we provide you with beach blankets, chairs, a rolling cooler, maps and literature filled with places to go and how to get there. Tea, coffee and water are provided in the suite. We strive to make your stay comfortable with good mattresses and pillows, cozy blankets and seasonal flowers. I am available for recommendations on where to eat, visit and local events.
