The Millhouse is a warm and inviting home located ten minutes to Glacier National Park on the Abbott Valley Homestead. The historic Millhouse is a unique home dedicated as a guest rental. It is an original "partner's" home built for one of the owner's of a local lumber mill. It has original knotty pine throughout, comfortable rooms and a lovely master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Close to Glacier, this is a great place to relax. The outdoor Pavilion is especially nice for gathering together at day’s end. Enjoy BBQ and fire pit. Entire home, outdoor yard with fire pit, patio and covered pavilion and garage. Guests are also welcome to walk along Abbott creek and picnic beside the babbling brook. We make every attempt to introduce ourselves and help our guests feel comfortable. The Millhouse is located on the Abbott Valley Ranch which is situated at the base of Desert Mountain and is surrounded by national forest. It is about ten minutes to GNP’s west entrance, 30 minutes to Whitefish, Bigfork and Flathead Lake. Shopping is easy and convenient at a local grocery. Hungry Horse Reservoir, several local swimming venues and many fishing spots are within a 5 mile radius of the ranch. Getting around is generally done with a car. We also recommend biking, and using the Park’s services. We have everything you need for your comfort and enjoyment. We also offer great value with coffee, spices, olive oil, full laundry with soap, fire wood and bear spray for Glacier Park!
