Enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine with lush scenery and great sunsets. ✔ Bedrooms: Each bedroom has a queen bed, a/c, ceiling fan, dresser, bedside tables, hanging closet, luggage rack and plenty of charging outlets. ✔ Kitchen: The full kitchen (fridge/freezer, electric range, sanitizing dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, kettle, blender all dishes and utensils) has everything you need to cook for meals in. The gas propane grill is outside near the carport for your private use. ✔ Dining: There's comfy dining seating for four guests on the lanai and in addition, a dining table for four guests inside the living/dining room. ✔ Living Room: There's a sofa and two push-back recliners with built-in footstool. Nice and comfy. The TV is a 43" Samsung Smart TV with internet streaming. This provides many regular channels and also Netflix, Hulu etc with your own account access. ✔ Laundry: Full size Samsung washer/dryer for your private use. ✔ Property: We are located on a lovely 2-acre property with grass lawn, fruit trees and tropical plants and trees. Feel free to pick ripe fruit in season for breakfast or a snack. Palm Cottage has an attached carport for your use and to keep the rental car in the shade. Also located in the carport are the beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. ✔ Breakfast: We provide packaged snacks and breakfast food items for you to have a self-catered light-island breakfast at the time of your choosing. Palm Cottage is a peaceful, rural location to get away from crowds and enjoy nearby waterfalls, hiking and communing with nature, but still close to shops and restaurants. We're about 10 minutes to the nearest beaches (Hookipa, Baldwin, Sprecklesville), great restaurants and 20 minutes from Costco, Walmart and Target in Kahului. If you prefer the South/Central beaches of Kihei they are just a short 30 minute drive away. We're perfectly placed near the start of "The Road to Hana" for you to explore. We're also well-placed for a day to visit Haleakala Crater. We’re located near the beginning of “The Road to Hana” and so there’s plenty to do right here. It's a beautiful tropical location, with lush greenery and flowers and impressive waterfalls close by. Twin falls is a short distance away, also Na ili ili-haele Stream & Waterfall and Waikamoi Nature Trailhead. The Gardens in Haiku are nearby and The Garden of Eden Arboretum is a short drive away. There’s great stores and galleries in Paia and Makawao (approx 6 miles each) or visit Haleakala Crater for that once in a lifetime experience. ✪ House Rules ✪: No parties/events. Premises are for our registered Guests only. No smoking, No illegal drug use. Please inquire if you want to bring a pet or support animal. Children age 10+ are permitted, although premises are not childproof. Children must be accompanied and supervised by adults at all times. Minimum age of primary renter:21 Max occupancy:4 Quiet hours 9pm - 8am. No amplified sound (music, TV etc ) loud enough to hear outside.
