The space All proceeds from your stay help us provide year-round, free residencies for refugee and immigrant musicians at the Chase House (main mansion). This large two-bedroom apartment occupies the first (parlor) floor of the Small Mansion of Chase Hill, a two-family Victorian home with panoramic views of the city below and MASS MoCA. The apartment is fully private, and the area is very peaceful, though, as with any New England historic home, you may occasionally hear steam noises, footsteps, or floor creaks. Guests have access to the estate’s gardens, several fire pits, and an outdoor Finnish sauna for a truly relaxing experience. Your apartment features: - Private entrance via a separate porch - Fully equipped kitchen with high-end appliances - Living room featuring a well-tuned Baldwin Hamilton piano - Oversized master bedroom (queen bed) with a work/seating area and panoramic views of MASS MoCA and the city below - Second bedroom with a large quartz center window, a trundle bed (expanding to two comfortable twin beds), and a small desk - Jack & Jill bathroom with a shower and excellent water pressure - Access to gardens and multiple fire pits - Outdoor Finnish sauna - In-unit laundry with washer and dryer - A variety of coffee-making tools plus fresh espresso beans Guest access Our guests have access to over 2.5 acres of gardens and lawns on the property, outdoor decks and terraces, several fire pits, wood fired pizza oven, a private wood fired outdoor sauna, as well as discounted massage sessions with our therapist in residence.
