Private entrance one bedroom In-Law Apartment with lovely outdoor space. An inlaw apartment is a garden level apartment under another, such as a two family. A mile to town and the beach at Tashmoo inlet. This garden level flat has a galley kitchen, full bath, living room with 2 full size futons and a bedroom with Queen size bed. The Cover Photo shows our main house and the apartment is on the basement level and we live upstairs with our 5 1/2 year old and a two year old. So you will hear the pitter patter of little feet. The Vineyard is our Summer home. We live upstairs and have the ultimate respect for your privacy and enjoyment of your vacation time. Although the space is private with it's own entrance, we live here as well and have a small cottage on the property that we also rent. Please don't expect complete solitude as you will see other guest as well as us on the property, but never in "your space". The laundry room is shared as well as the outdoor shower, although not literally :) Guests also share the firepit area. A gas grill is offered in the firepit area. Golf is a short drive or walk to Mink Meadows County Club which is open to the public.The town tennis courts are a 5 minute walk away. There is that summer classic : the outdoor shower for use of all our guests. A fire pit is on property but use is permitted only while your Host is on the property for safety. Thanks. We are almost always available to help you get the most out of your stay if not in person than through texting or email as we live an active "Island life". This is a super chilled out neighborhood of seasonal and year round residents with lots of vacationers mixed in as well. The convenience of being able to walk to the vibrant Main Steet district of Vineyard Haven, the beach and the ferry is a huge plus. The VTA bus stop is 1 mile from the house at the ferry terminal. There are also numerous bike , car and scooter rentals as well as taxis and tour companies located right in Vineyard Haven. Go to the Vineyard Transit Authority website for some great detailed info. We have gear for families with babies; Pack and Play, Changing Table etc Please inquire for specifics. We also have tons of beach gear should you need to borrow any chairs, umbrella, toys for the kids , etc.
