We are situated a comfortable few steps away from the general pool/jacuzzi/barbecue area and yet conveniently around the corner so as to avoid any disruptive noises from there. The condo feels like a home away from home, with an up close view of the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean where you will experience Hawaii in all its natural splendor, removed from the tourist crowds. Palm trees sway softly as the waves rush into shore. Look for dolphins, turtles, and if you’re lucky, even whales frolicking right in front of you! Every sunset, a few boogie boarders will ride those waves into Honl's Beach, just 200 feet away. This is known as the home of boogie boarding. The little beach at the corner of the resort grounds, is an easy 2-minute walk from the condo, and features a small cove where there is some nice snorkeling to be had. * Please note that while there is an elevator to get to the top floor, there is an additional short flight of stairs to climb - a total of 9 steps. The well-appointed condo is clean, bright, and airy, and is one of just a few units in the resort with EFFICIENT AND QUIET Dual Zone air conditioning throughout the living room and bedroom. Brand new wood frame glass sliding doors open from the living room to the lanai. There is a KING bed in the bedroom with a brand new memory foam mattress. A brand new high end sofa bed in the living room pulls out to a very comfortable queen bed, thanks to new technology. No more uncomfortable bar under your back! Comfortable bedding is provided for both beds. The bathroom features a walk-in shower, raised sink, and modern fixtures. Cable television is offered in both the living room and in the bedroom. You also have the choice of connecting to your own streaming services on both SMART TVs. There is also a DVD player and an iphone-compatible sound system. The kitchen features high end cabinetry, granite counters, and is outfitted with modern appliances - a full stove/oven, a large refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a microwave. For sports lovers, there are all varieties of activities: surfing, canoeing, is, after all, the site of the annual Ironman World Championships as well as the annual Queen Lili’uokalani Canoe Races, the world’s largest long distance canoe race. In fact, the Ironman open water swim and the race canoes pass right in front of the condo so you can watch right from the comfort of the lanai.
