We are located in the center of a historical New England town center with leafy streets, fishing boats, and beautiful architecture. There is a nice yard with gardens, a park with a running track a block away and a bicycle path two blocks away. There is a nice, 2-mile run/ walk to the ocean and back. The Delano Homestead B&B is near beaches, parks, restaurants, and ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. We are located within 30 mins of Newport, Providence, and Cape Cod. We are within an hour of two airports, Boston, and Martha's vineyard. The property is historical with Greek Revival Architecture. It was in FDR's family for 120 years. While it has a historical ambiance, it is a laid back and friendly place. Ask the inn-keeper for advice on your visit or just enjoy the peace and quiet. From the house, you can walk to the harbor, town pier, marinas, restaurants, library, beach, and parks. We are only a mile from the ferry to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, as well as the New Bedford Whaling Museum. We are within half-an-hour of Newport, Cape Cod, Providence, and many beaches. We are within an hour of two airports, Boston, mid-Cape, the ferry to Nantucket, whale watching, Plymouth Plantation, etc. Guest access Guests have access to their bedroom and bath, living room, dining room, kitchen, gardens and greenhouse. They can make their own coffee at any time or have a piece of fruit or snack. We serve an oversized continental breakfast in am (included). Can also walk to restaurants, shops, fishing pier, beach, etc. During your stay I am here to answer any questions or help in any way. Or you can have all the private space that you like .
