The home offers spacious luxury with a solar heated pool, a spa with a waterfall, and a large backyard that offers privacy, plenty of comfortable seating and unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean and rare native fish ponds. Built with comfort and open spaces in mind, the main four-bedroom home has wall-length glass sliders that blend the large living room with the beautiful outdoors. Great for Hawaii family or group gatherings, Kolea 14 is a prime property on the Big Island's Gold Coast. The home features two master bedrooms with splendid ocean views, a king size bed, generously sized en-suite bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs and walk-in showers, as well as private outdoor tropical showers. Located privately on the south side of the home, there is also a third master bedroom with a king bed and an en-suite bathroom. A kids guest room with two sets of bunk beds and a sofa sleeper offer additional sleeping quarters. A beautiful courtyard decorated with endemic Hawaiian plants and ponds separates the main oceanfront home from the private Ohana house, which features one king bedroom with a large en-suite bathroom. The Ohana house increases the estates sleep capacity to 12. A true gem on the Kohala Coast, Kolea 14 is a prime estate that offers luxurious privacy only a short distance away from the gorgeous sands of A-Bay and the popular restaurants and shops of the Waikoloa Resort. All guests who stay at Kolea at Waikoloa will have access to use private oceanfront recreation center with open-air cabana, tables, chairs and couches for lounging, an infinity edge pool, lava rock hot tub and a children�s pool complete with sandy bottom and waterfall, exercise room & business desk for printing boarding passes and tickets only. Parking for one vehicle, per unit is provided. Kolea at Waikoloa is a non-smoking property. The owners of this property have purchased a Waikoloa Resort Golf Membership. All registered guests of this home are entitled to play on the Waikoloa Beach Resort Golf courses at a discounted rate. Rates and course availability are subject to change without notice and membership must be renewed annually by the property owner and may be discontinued without notice. Our resort office is located at the Mauna Lani Terrace and is open daily from 9:00am - 5:00pm for guests who need assistance, have questions or would like recommendations for activities, beaches, restaurants, services, etc. We are also available after-hours to assist in case of a property-related emergency. A car rental is HIGHLY recommended, public transportation & taxi service is limited. Other things to note The State of Hawaii requires that we collect 17.962% tax in 2025 and 18.712% in 2026 on the rent and additional fees (which should be INCLUDED in the price). Tax rates are based on the dates of your stay and guests are responsible to pay all applicable taxes levied by the local authorities should there be a change.
