The Blue Nook

Come relax in our Little Blue Nook located in historic LeClaire, IA right on the mighty Mississippi River. Home to the famous Buffalo Bill Cody. This is the perfect place for a weekend get away or for a long stay. The space Kitchen: Keurig, toaster, blender, hand mixer, and milk frother. The table easily folds out to seat 4. Living room: comfortable seating for 4 that over looks the river. The TV is equipped with Roku featuring guest mode so you can sign in to your favorite streaming service. There is also an antenna so you can watch local channels as well. There is an assortment of games available. Bathroom: you’ll find shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispenser in the shower. There is a blow dryer under the sink along with a basket of assorted travel size toiletries. Master bedroom: queen size bed equipped with plugs on either side for charging your device. Bedside lamps also have a USB charging ports on either side (port is located on the back of the lamp base). There is a desk with power strip to plug in and charge your electronics. The TV is equipped with Roku guest mode and has an antenna for local channel viewing. Bedroom 2: queen size bed with outlets on either side of the bed for charging devices. Closet is set up to mimic a vanity for those times everyone needs to get ready at the same time. Outdoor: patio table with seating for 6 overlooking the Mississippi River. The fire pit with seating is located in the rear. Laundromat 1/4 mile from house Full service grocery store 1/2 miles from house I-80 is only 1/2 mile from house 24 minutes to Davenport, Iowa 32 minutes to Clinton, Iowa 23 minutes to Quad Cities International Airport Other things to note There are active train tracks across the street along the River. Also, due to the house being close to the river, please expect to have bugs on the outside of the house during certain seasons Please be sure and add correct people and pets to bookings Pet Policy Notice: We ask that all dogs be well-behaved, house-trained, and supervised at all times. For the safety and comfort of future guests, we also require that dogs do not sleep on the furniture and that you clean up after them both inside and outside the property. While we welcome well-behaved dogs at our property, please note that guests are fully responsible for their pets during their stay. We are not liable for any accidents, damages, or injuries caused by pets, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or disturbances. Guests are expected to supervise their dogs at all times and ensure they do not cause harm or damage. By bringing a pet, you agree to assume full responsibility for your dog’s behavior and any resulting consequences.
