After a busy day, relax in this sun-filled private room with attached private bath. Sip a glass of wine on our covered front porch or take a sunset walk through the adjacent conservation land. The space Our property is perfectly placed on 1 acre of land, set back from the road , away from all neighbors, up on a hill. There is always plenty of free parking space in our large driveway only a few steps from the front door. The room is on the main floor. The room is newly remodeled featuring many modern amenities: built-in USB charger ports, Smart TV with many premium apps, dimmable lighting, Keurig coffee maker and more. The room is spacious with a queen -size bed. Linens are included. The well-lit bathroom boasts a roomy stand-up shower, large vanity and toilet. Hand and bathing towels are included. On request, guests can stow items in the kitchen refrigerator and/or use the toaster oven and microwave. Guest access Relax on the large front covered porch and enjoy a beverage or snack. Looking to engage with nature, then meander through the serene wooded surroundings, watch the local birds or reconnect with the stars on a clear night. In the spring, summer and fall, guests are welcome to stroll out back and greet the chickens and enjoy the beauty of the landscaped gardens and fruit trees. During your stay There is usually someone home at any given time. I will provide a cell number to the guests in the event we will all be out of the house. Other things to note OUR AMZING TOWN! Only 40 minutes from Boston, Groton is a beautiful historic town just off Rt 495. Hike up the historic Bancroft Castle at Gibbett Hill and enjoy the sunset or grab a bite to eat at Gibbett Hill Grill. Take a stroll through the NOA Art Gallery or dine at one of the many fantastic restaurants, like Forge and Vine. Up for an adventure, then visit one of the many small local farms or rent a canoe/kayak ( 5-min drive ). Whether relaxing, visiting one of the private schools or attending a wedding at the barn at Gibbett Hill, everything is located a short 10-minute drive away.
