Enjoy the beauty of nature in a geodesic dome overlooking Lake Red Rock. Perfect for nature lovers, romantic getaways, anniversaries, birthdays, or even a peaceful business retreat blending comfort with breathtaking views. It features a remote-controlled solar light above the bed that turns on at dusk & can be switched off without leaving your bed. Solar panels & a battery system provide convenient power for charging small essentials—so you can stay comfortable while staying connected to nature. The space The newly built 20ft diameter geodesic glamping dome tent is located on top of a hill in Tri-pond farm campground near Lake Red Rock. The dome has a king-size bed with mattresses and bed linens (We do have bedding and blankets and pillows available for your comfort. Many of our customers bring their own bedding to enhance their comfort so please feel free to bring your own bit of home with you). There ia a table with a capsule coffee maker, and a sofa that can be folded out as a queen bed with two sleeping bags. The dome is equipped with an electric generator, a portable air conditioner for summer, and a wood stove for winter. There is a solar fan on top of the dome for general ventilation. The dome has a front yard with a portable fire pit and a charcoal BBQ grill, which is a perfect location to watch sunset, and the dome also has a back yard under the shade with another fire pit and a picnic table. There are a car parking space and an additional tent space, and several trees for hammocks in the shade areas at the back of the dome. We also provided two hammocks, which you may use in the back of the dome. There is a dry compostable camping toilet and camping shower/wash stall with a camping shower bag near the dome. The dome features a remote-controlled solar light over the bed, which automatically lights up when it's dark outside and can be turned off in your comfortable bed. The dome is also equipped with a solar battery and solar panels for charging cell phones, decorative lights, or other minor electricity needs. We provide two bottles of drinking water in the dome. The regular drinking water tap is located at the campground gate by a small house. We also provide a camping cooking stove with a small bottle of propane to make a quick meal. The campsite is located on a peninsula in Lake Red Rock, about 50 miles southeast of Des Moines. It is a 40-acre fenced hilly/pond land, which is rare in Iowa. You may enjoy three private ponds for fishing and a 10-acre tree area for shaded hiking. The area is peaceful and quiet and peaceful. There is also a lot to do nearby. The Whitebreast Beach (open during May to September each year, $5 per carload), Red Rock Lake boat ramp, Historic Coal Ridge Church, Stu Kuyper hiking trail, and the Youth park are all within a mile. Knoxville Raceway and the historic City of Pella are nearby. Fishing in the ponds is allowed. Guest access The guests use a gate code to enter the Nature Heaven campground. Then use the dome door code to enter the dome. Guests may use the entire dome and surroundings, including the firepits and picnic table, and BBQ grill. The quest may go fishing in the 3 fishing ponds and hiking in 10 areas of woods in this 40-acre campground. Other things to note Fishing in the ponds is allowed.
