Cotuit: Serene coastal retreat

We share our large 5 bedroom home in the quaint village of Cotuit. Fragrance Free. Available are 1-3 bedrooms to the SAME party. 6 guests max. Each room has separate fees. Price shown is for 1 room. Please SEND INQUIRY IF 2+ BEDROOMS ARE REQUIRED. Walk to the beach depending on your fitness; 2 miles round trip. When you arrive you may park in the semi-circle in front of the house. That way you may come and go without getting blocked in. The space PLEASE READ ALL! *For nurses and medical professionals who have a contract, we offer longer, flexible stays with a LARGE discount for ONE person. Please send an inquiry. *Guests with a 4+ star rating receive a discount — message me for a special offer! * People often stay here due to fragrance allergies because it is fragrance free. Please do not bring cologne, perfume, aftershave, scented soaps, lotions, sun block, bug spray, and hair products into this house. No scented deodorant. I supply soaps, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Let me know ahead of time what you need and I will do my best to accommodate you. * The price listed is for vacationers requiring ONE BEDROOM, which holds 2 people only. If you need more bedrooms, please make an INQUIRY, NOT A RESERVATION so I may adjust the price. In the inquiry, please let me know how many bedrooms you need for how many people (max. 2 people per bedroom), how many nights, and the dates. *If you have one child who is too large to sleep in your bed with you, you may reserve one air mattress to use on the floor in that room with pillow, sheets, and blanket for $20 per night. If you have 2 children, you must rent an additional bedroom. * We welcome you to SHARE our home, which we live in. You are NOT renting the entire house. * The price on the Airbnb advertisement is for ONE ROOM, which holds TWO people. If you want an additional rooms they $95 each per night. * Children are welcome. Do know we have glass cabinets and sharp corners on tables. * We are very near the heart of Cotuit, but OFF THE BEATEN PATH so you can enjoy peace and quiet. Because we are off the beaten path...YOU NEED A VEHICLE since there is limited transportation on Cape Cod. * Walk/ride bikes to beaches (NO VEHICLES). Loop Beach: 1.1 miles. Ropes Beach: .7 mi. Town Dock .6 mi. Drive to South Cape Beach 7.4 mi., Craigville Beach 7 mi.(fees). * You can sit on the front porch and relax, or if it is cool, sit by the gas-fired Jotul stove in your private living room. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs for additional fees ($95 per room per night), and one bedroom downstairs. One upstairs bedroom has a queen bed, the other a full size. The downstairs bedroom has a full-size bed. You share the downstairs bathroom with your OWN party. The house is comfortable, nicely furnished, and casual. We clean and sanitize. * Please note: This is an older house with constant improvement projects. * Since this is NOT an entire house rental. We all share the kitchen. We have our own space to hang out in, and you have yours! BUT we do enjoy getting to know you. * Please no food in your bedroom. Guest access There is a ground floor bedroom with a full-size bed and a private bathroom off the hallway, and/or 2 upstairs bedrooms. (If you want more than one bedroom, contact me with an inquiry so I may adjust the price. The price you see is for one bedroom only) You have a private living room with leather furniture, marine prints, and nautical decor and television with Roku (no cable). You can share our kitchen, but please clean up after yourself. There will be some room in the refrigerator and freezer for you to use if you need it. In the summer, sit on our front porch and relax! During your stay We have our own space and you have yours. We will stay out of your space, but if you need help maneuvering around Cape Cod, we would be happy to help direct you. It is most convenient to have a car to get around Cape Cod. If you are allergic to dogs or cats, this is not the place for you. One very curious cat lives here and one ancient, sweet, mini long-haired dachshund. Other things to note We have two bedrooms upstairs available for an additional $95 each per night. The price that you see on the listing is for ONE BEDROOM. If you want additional rooms, please make an INQUIRY, NOT A RESERVATION, and I will adjust the price accordingly. There is a two night minimum stay. If you are here for 28 days or more (one person only who works days outside the home) we require a background check which is paid by me. It doesn't affect your credit score and you get a copy. We also require a Massachusetts lease and a $800 security deposit, refundable upon a no damage stay. Those who stay here for more than a week will be assigned the upstairs bedroom with the queen bed. No pets allowed. No smoking. No vaping/epens. No drugs. No weapons. There are fans, and we DO NOT have central air conditioning. On the Cape, sea breezes usually cool us off at night. If there is a heatwave, we do have A/C window units for the bedrooms, which we will gladly install for you. If you are too hot, PLEASE LET US KNOW so that we may accomodate you. If you are too hot and don't tell us, don't give us a bad review for being too hot. If you are allergic to scents, this is the place to be! Do not bring any fragranced items into the house. We use no plug-ins, scented candles, fragrance laundry detergent, etc. I supply unscented soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. I you need something else, please let me know prior to your visit. Please remember that we are not a B&B. This is an older home and in various stages of improvement projects. Doors swell and stick in the summer, dry out, and crack in the winter. We are opening our home to share with so you may enjoy the beauty of Cape Cod. If you require perfection, try the beautiful Daniel Webster Inn located in Sandwich. You may use our microwave and we will make room in our fridge for you. After using the kitchen, please clean up after yourself. Please wipe the counter, stove, microwave, refrigerator if you have spills. We do have many chiming clocks. PLEASE LET US KNOW if you think they will keep you awake at night; we will silence them. We do have one white noise machine if you would like to use it, please let me know. If you cannot walk a mile at home, please do consider your fitness if you want to walk to the beaches here. To one beach it is 1.1 miles one way; that is over 2 miles round trip.
