Haiku is one of Maui's most beloved communities—peaceful, green, and centrally located. You're just minutes from Paia, Makawao, Ho'okipa Beach, Twin Falls, the Road to Hana, Haleakalā National Park, and countless North Shore beaches. This is Maui at a slower pace—less crowded, more authentic, and surrounded by natural beauty. Perfect for: Extended stays, remote workers, traveling healthcare professionals, couples, visiting family and friends, and anyone looking to experience the real Maui beyond the resort areas. This one-bedroom ocean- and mountain-view condo features vaulted ceilings and an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen space. Enjoy a view of the ocean from inside the living room while sipping coffee each morning or with a cocktail in hand at night on the deck as the sun sets. The large King bedroom offers space to rest, a desk/monitor for work-from-home support, and a mounted TV, plus an attached bathroom with a large walk-in shower. This unit offers additional sleeping space in the form of 1 couch, 2 floor futons, and/or a Queen blow-up mattress. The dining room offers seating for up to 6 + 2 additional barstool spaces at the countertop. The deck is equipped with a small outdoor table + large deck table for outdoor dining. The well-equipped kitchen features an electric stove and oven, a full-size refrigerator/freezer, a toaster, a blender, a pantry, an ice maker, a Vitamix, plenty of pots and pans, serving dishes, etc. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, a toilet, and a sink/cabinet. Towels and essentials provided. The property contains two buildings that were previously used to house students who came to Maui to learn to surf. There are 5 condos on the property, and 3 of the units are occupied by family members who rent full-time. We rent the other 2; they are both in our upper building and can be rented in tandem if extra space is needed. Please note that the property is shared with one dog, some kitties, and a lot of frogs! Easy access to many beautiful beaches, lots of local shopping, restaurants of every kind, tourist attractions, hikes, and waterfalls nearby. Head up to Hana, visit the Garden of Eden, hike in the Iao Valley, dip in the river, jump off waterfalls at Twin Falls, make reservations for sunrise on Haleakalā, or head up for a sunset.
