This spacious one-bedroom ocean view condo is perfect for a relaxing Maui getaway. The lush property spans 2 acres and was previously used as housing for a surf school. View of the ocean one way and Haleakala the other. Parking on site and property gated. Property common spaces are shared. Located in the quaint Haiku neighborhood, nestled between Makawao and Paia - on the more laid-back side of the island. Closest beach is just 10 min away. The space This one-bedroom ocean + mountain view condo features vaulted ceilings with an open concept living, dining and kitchen space. Enjoy a view of the ocean from inside the living room while sipping coffee each morning or with a cocktail in hand at night on the deck as the sun sets. The large queen bedroom offers space to rest, desk/monitor to support work from home + mounted TV and has a bathroom with large walk-in shower attached. This unit offers additional sleeping space in options of 1 couch, 2 floor futons and/or Queen blow up mattress. The dining room offers seating for up to 6 + 2 additional barstool spaces at the countertop. The deck is equipped with a small outdoor table + large deck table for outdoor dining. The well-equipped kitchen features an electric stove and oven, full size refrigerator/freezer, toaster, blender, pantry, ice maker, Vitamix, plenty of pots and pans, serving dishes, etc. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, toilet and sink/cabinet. Towels and essentials provided. The property contains two buildings that were previously used to house students who came to Maui to learn to surf. There are a total of 5 condos on the property and 3 of the units contain family members who rent full time. We rent the other 2, they are both in our upper building and can be rented in tandem if extra space is needed. Please note that the property is shared with one dog, some kitties and a lot of frogs! You will have shared access to laundry facilities and also share access to a deck in the middle of the property. The shared laundry for building #1 in the garage below the unit.
