Welcome! This spacious and historic apartment is filled with vintage charm and creativity. It is light filled all day, and cozy at night. We have a fireplace, gas stove, record collection, organic mattress and sheets, incredible water filter, designed lighting, plentiful heating, clawfoot bathtub, and an eco-conscientious vibe. We are academics affiliated with Harvard, quiet, busy, good vibes around the supper table. Private room/shared common areas. The space Cheers! Please excuse the photos as we recently moved in, and are still perfecting the design. We are two extremely clean individuals, eco-conscious, and creative. I am a landscape painter and my roommate is a wilderness photographer. I am going to graduate school at Harvard. You will have my room for longer sublet, or a few nights here and there. Organic mattress and sheets, air filter in the room, stained glass lighting. A desk if you need it. You are welcome to play records, and eggs or fruit will be provided for a light breakfast. We have lots of loose herbs and tea, but bring your own coffee - there are about 4 cafes on the block. 4th floor - no elevator. No microwave - cast iron pans instead. 4-5 minute walk to the Porter Square Red Line. 10 minute walk to Harvard Law School, 20 minute walk to the far side of the Yard. Warm and sunny in the apartment, the street noise at night is minimal but present. Guest access Guests can access the full apartment. Coin Laundry in the basement.
