Gardens, beach, hot tub & fire pit. The best sunsets! Events/weddings are welcome with extra requirements. The entire 1920 Garden Farmhouse is yours. Kick back, relax in this calm stylish space. This 3 bed 2.5 bath updated farmhouse. Small sandy beach next to the best garden area. It's a 2 minute drive to the Delaware bay beach and 15 minute drive to shopping downtown Cape May and 10 minutes to amusements in Wildwoods! Many wineries just waiting for you to tour. The space This 1600 square-foot 100 year old farmhouse and grounds can be used for a wedding venue for an extra fee. It has a master bedroom downstairs with an en suite bathroom. Every room has been remodeled and upgraded. The kitchen has a full refrigerator with an ice maker, dishwasher, gas stove and oven. There is a drip coffee maker and a Keurig. It is stocked with Keurig cups and many choices of teas. The master bedroom, on the ground level, is connected to the kitchen. The living room has a sleeper sofa and is next to the kitchen also. All anyone needs for “ground floor space”. The living room stairway goes up to the king bedroom and the queen bedroom. These two bedrooms will share a large spacious bathroom. The small red barn in the back is my residence. I am the care taker of the property and at your service with advanced notice. I’m available if you need anything specific. Total number of units on the property is three. There is an acre of gardens freshly planted and growing fast. Plenty of perennials and annual flowers in the summertime. The gardens are for you to relax and enjoy. I have brought in 24+ tons of sand for our own beach in the back yard. Plenty of seating around the fire pit. They can be lit only if there is no wind...strictly enforced! We don't want the embers burning down the forest. Plenty of free fire 🔥 wood. Check with me if you want to light a fire. Pets are allowed and there is a $50 per night/per pet fee. There is an outside pen with a dog house if you need it. Pets are limited to the lower level of the house. This includes the master bedroom, kitchen and living room. No pets upstairs please. There is a gate to keep the pets from going upstairs. You will be two minute drive from the house to long walks and sunsets on the bay and 15 minute drive from downtown Cape May or 10 minute drive to the Wildwood beaches. In Cape May you can have a sunrise and a sunset from Cape May Point. In season the shops are open. The pubs are always open for business. A must go to is Congress Hall, the light house, the submarine bunker, the cement ship and maybe take a ride on the Lewes Ferry to Rehoboth Beach Delaware for the day. It's a great experience crossing the Delaware Bay for the day. Drive on or walk on. There is plenty of free parking here on the farm. The house is limited to 8 people staying overnight. You can have a party during the day. Weddings and events up to 50 people are welcome. There are some requirements and extra charges for any party over 12 people. Let me know if there's a chance there could be more than 8 people on the property. If there are any special needs or request that I can help you with, I am at your service. I am one text away. If you are a photographer and want to do a photo shoot in the gardens, ask about availability. Pricing for photographers is $20/hr to use the gardens as your portrait backgrounds. There is a changing room in the Red Barn office. Guest access All guests are welcome to roam the grounds. There is a strict no wind policy for the BIG beach fire 🔥 pit. This area is common grounds. The main home has a sitting area with a private bbq. Other things to note Please note that there are two barns on the property that guests do not have access to. The wooded property behind us is private property. We do not have permission to go wandering in the woods on the neighbers property. Across the street are hundreds of acres belonging the the wildlife conservation. Lots of birdwatching.
