Sunset Studio on Plum Island

Great location on Plum Island in Newburyport. This is the quiet side of the island, which is great for relaxation. Short walk or bike ride to the beach, bars, and restaurants. The Parker River Wildlife Refuge is a must-see during your stay. Downtown Newburyport is another must do...lots of fabulous shopping and eateries, and while you're there, you can walk the rail trail or just walk along the waterfront. There isn't a closet but plenty of hanging racks and a dresser drawer with extra towels if needed. The living room has a sectional sofa with a 43" screen TV and sound bar. We have a JBL Bluetooth Flip 5 speaker to enjoy music on your patio. Extra blankets, towels, and sheets are stored either inside the wicker trunk or the dresser drawer. The fireplace can be used to light candles but not wood fires. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need if you choose to cook. The bathroom is unique and compact but spotless and functional. The sliding glass door leads out to your private patio area with a table and 4 chairs, 2 Adirondack chairs, and an umbrella. The seat cushions will be left inside the studio. Beach chairs can be found in the open shed area along with the coaster bikes. I can also provide a portable grill upon request. Beautiful views of the River and Marsh. You'll also have some spectacular sunset views! We have 2 coaster bikes and helmets for you to use so you can explore the area. We have high-end sheets on the bed and thick fluffy towels. All pillows along with the mattress have allergen covers. Plum Island was a hidden gem until it hit the cover of Coastal Magazine but is still a very special barrier island that we know you'll enjoy. Also feel free to use the outside hose to rinse off your feet after the beach... Guest access Access to the studio apartment will be through the front door (keyless entry) into your PRIVATE foyer. We will provide you with the code and directions for the keypad. The Studio door is off the foyer with a lockable door using a key...stairs leading up is our living space. During your stay, you have a private patio area with a table and 4 chairs, along with 2 Adirondack chairs. We also provide beach chairs, towels, and 2 coaster bikes with helmets.
