Parking for 2 SUVs (left side) and one small car (right side). THE STREET: It’s perfect for kids. Walk to the beach without crossing Route 35 on a safe, private, one-way street. The ice cream truck comes right down our street, and our street is “the street” to be on for neighborhood parties and hang outs. At night, the residents set up their chairs in the street, drink wine and smoke cigars, make pizzas and popcorn, and the kids ride their scooters and play games. It’s safe, manageable, and the kids love it. At night, you can’t walk down our street without being offered wine, popcorn, or a sparkler from each person you run into. Our neighbors are the best! THE BEACH: The beach is amazing. This beach is for Chadwick residents only, so it’s not overcrowded. As there is no street parking, there are no day trippers here, only residents, their renters, and guests. The lifeguards are award winning, and there’s no underage partying or aggressive behavior. Just surfing to one side, fishing to the other, and swimming in between. Beach passes purchased by badge checker, or at real estate office when picking up the keys to being the rental. THE LOCATION: Convenience. Wawa is at the end of the street. Far enough where you don’t hear any of the kids playing music and hanging out, but close enough where it’s super convenient to go get something you forgot to bring down with you, or to get drinks and sandwiches for the beach. Want an iced coffee or a breakfast sandwich? It could be in your hand in 30 seconds. The park behind Wawa has a full playground for young children, newly surfaced basketball courts, tennis, and pickleball. Also across the street is a mini-golf course and diagonal is a bait shop for fishing and crabbing supplies. THE PICKELBALL: There is an amazing park one block away behind Wawa where beginner and intermediate players show up every morning to play from about 730-10. There are 9 courts, and everyone is super friendly. They use the paddle racking system and a whiteboard to determine who is next up… If you show up to play, the locals will show you how to get on. There tends to be a challenge court for the more advanced players, if you are up for it. This is the perfect beach house and where you can memories with your family.
