Enjoy your own spacious top-floor loft in our beautiful historic Jersey City home. Larger than guests expect, this private suite feels like a cozy apartment with a bedroom, full bathroom, living room, and kitchenette. Bright, peaceful, and full of charm, it’s the perfect home base for exploring NYC. The entrance is through our family home, so you may occasionally see us in passing, but the entire top floor is exclusively yours. The space The top floor of our newly renovated historic home is your private retreat. You'll find a serene bedroom with a comfy Casper queen mattress and pillows, a brand-new full bathroom just for you, a cozy living room with a pull-out couch, TV, and stunning views of the NYC skyline, plus a handy kitchenette for light meals. Access is through our home’s main entrance and up two flights of stairs. While the top floor is completely private, you may pass us on your way in or out. Guests also have complimentary access to the washer and dryer located in the second floor hallway. Guest access You’ll enter using a secure code provided on the day of your arrival. During your stay, you’ll have exclusive access to the top floor, which includes your bedroom, private bathroom, and open living area with a pull-out couch, desk, and NYC skyline view. You’re also welcome to use our washer and dryer on the second floor and relax on the front porch when you'd like some fresh air - or if you need a smoke. During your stay My husband and I live in the home with our two children. We’re available via text if you need anything—while we both work full-time, we’re responsive and happy to help. That said, we completely respect your privacy. You're welcome to interact as much or as little as you'd like. The entire third floor is yours to enjoy without interruption. Other things to note Our home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, just a 10-minute walk from Berry Lane Park and the Garfield Avenue Light Rail station. From there, you can easily connect to the PATH train for a smooth ride into New York City. My husband commutes to Brooklyn daily, and when timed well, the journey from our front door to the World Trade Center in Manhattan takes as little as 25 minutes—an excellent hub for transferring to subway lines throughout the city.
