Pearls Place

This is the first floor of my home which sits in the Historic District and along the bluff of the Mississippi River. We are set up for longer term stays, offering a fully furnished kitchen and laundry facilities. Relaxing outside in the fresh air might be a covered porch or privacy in a back garden gazebo. It is a short stroll to see the lock and dam 19 from atop the bluff. The space The house is a Victorian, built in 1908 by my Great Grandparents, The Connables one of Keokuk's founding families. It was given to my Grandmother as a wedding present and remains in the family to date. I have restored and left a lot of the original architecture, only updating to add some new amenities. Guest access The guest will have access to the front porch which sit many chairs and tables for relaxing. Also the gazebo in the back gardens is now available and coming soon a stone BBQ and waterfall feature in the back gardens.
