As you approach this non-smoking property, you will have access to on site parking. Within a few steps, you will arrive at the front door of the building. After entering and proceeding up one flight of stairs, you will find yourself at your home away from home. This private setting is nestled among single family homes. Once inside the unit, you will notice it has been professionally decorated with brand new furniture in a contemporary style for today's modern traveler. The space Lovely Queen Anne Victorian built in the late 1800’s is located in a quiet, single family neighborhood bordering the city of Boston. This spacious one bedroom private apartment is located on the second floor. The maximum number of people the unit can accommodate is 4 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 3 children. Children are considered 12 years old and under. To enter the apartment, you will use a passcode to access the keypad. When you walk through the door, you will find yourself in the newly furnished living room. Here you will have access to a sectional couch and a Samsung 65 inch Curve TV with an HD antenna. Off the living room is an extra-large master bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed and brand new furniture for storing your belongings. Located in the closet is an iron and ironing board, as well as space for hanging any clothes. The room is so ample there is a nook area with an oversized chair and ottoman for relaxing or cuddling up with a good book. Watch TV on the brand new 40 inch Samsung Smart TV with an HD antenna. An extra room contains a twin over full-size bunk bed for additional guests. Another closet with shelving is available for more storage. All beds are pre-made with brand new pillows, sheets, blankets and/or a comforter. The tiled eat-in kitchen is fully applianced with a refrigerator, gas stove, oven, and garbage disposal. For your use, there is a toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle, and a microwave. The kitchen is stocked with glasses, dishes, silverware, utensils, pots, pans, and most items necessary to prepare a fantastic meal. The tap water is drinkable. The kitchen, bedroom, and living room all are enhanced with brand new ceiling fans. Located off the kitchen is a full bathroom with tub and shower, along with a newly installed exhaust fan and vanity light. The unit is equipped with baseboard heat for the winter months and ceiling fans and/or air conditioners for the summer months. Please note that prices vary from low to peak weeks. ** Please be advised that this listing is NOT handicapped accessible. ** Guest access If you are looking at the front of the house, you will have access to the first spot in the right parking area. The parking spot is off the corner of Pratt Street right next to the shrubbery. To enter the Queen Anne Victorian home, you will be given a private passcode the morning of your arrival date for the keypad on the front door of the home and to the door of your second floor apartment. You have permission to use the barbeque grill outside and the sitting area on the front porch. You will have the use of WIFI; the download speed is around 4 Mbps and the upload speed is around 1.5 Mbps; the password will be in the apartment. There is a full-size, coin-operated washer and dryer in the basement that you will be allowed to use. To utilize the train system most effectively, you may want to download the “Transit App” from the PlayStore or AppStore; it is fully integrated with the MBTA and has an awesome GPS feature. Other things to note This is a quiet family neighborhood, close to the city. However, this is not a place for loud music or any parties, so please keep the noise down especially at night. The owner has a unit on the property. This is a great place to stay if you are attending graduations, weddings, events, conferences, or family/friend functions. Getting to Fenway Park and to the many highlights Boston has to offer is a MUST. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, as well as super markets to stock up some of your favorite foods. Our favorite restaurants in the area are Bamboo, Olivardi, and Del Frisco’s Grill. There are several high end stores in Legacy Place, which is less than 5 minutes away by car. Please take your shoes off and leave them in the tray outside of the apartment; the area rugs are all brand new and we would like to keep them in great condition. If you have trash that you would like to dispose of, there are receptacles throughout the apartment, if they get full, there is a small dumpster for trash outside on the premises.
