Kootenai River Guesthouse

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on the bank of the Kootenai River. Sit on the large outdoor deck, in the screened in porch, or the living room and enjoy the wildlife, and the fast flow of the Kootenai River. Fish from the bank or just enjoy the beautiful scenery. Guests may also want to check out the many local outdoor activities.....Yaak River & Yaak Falls, Spar Lake, Bull Lake (public beach and boat launch), Ross Creek Cedars, and Kootenai Falls and Swinging Bridge. The space Our Kootenai River Guesthouse accommodates 2 guests very comfortably with wi-fi, heating and air-conditioning on the bank of the Kootenai River. It is a one-bedroom guesthouse with a queen size bed, separate living room, bathroom, and screened in porch located directly on the beautiful Kootenai River. Large private deck, wonderful views of the Kootenai River, and the beautiful mountains along the river. The guesthouse has 5 large windows looking out onto the Kootenai River. The guesthouse has a dedicated working space, including a computer monitor, and the best view ever to work from. There is a coffee area in the living room, with a Keurig coffee machine, toaster, and miscellaneous basic needs in that area. In the attached screened in porch area, there is a kitchenette type of area, including a large outdoor table and chairs, microwave, XL air fryer toaster smart oven (countertop Grill/Griddle Combo), electric skillet (for pancakes, eggs, etc.), refrigerator, and water cooler. There is a large Weber Grill with a pot burner on the side that is available for use. The guesthouse is set up for simple meals, with a small kitchen sink in the attached screened in porch….which is set up with everything needed to do dishes, so simple meals are very achievable. Guest access The guests have access to the living room, bedroom, bathroom, and screened in porch at the guesthouse. The guesthouse is equipped with the basics like salt, pepper, seasonings, paper plates, plastic cups, wine glasses, regular glasses, etc. Everything to enjoy yourself and make simple meals. There are two fire extinguishers….one in the screened in porch and the other is in the bedroom wardrobe. Wireless internet is available throughout the guesthouse. The SSID is House, and the password is Luu883ktw. NO ANIMALS ARE ALLOWED, INCLUDING SERVICE ANIMALS DUE TO A FAMILY ALLERGY TO ANIMALS. Other things to note Our home is next to the guesthouse, so we may say "Hi" or wave....but we stay in our space and allow guests to have their own privacy. We do have a small dog named Emmie (our hypoallergenic dog) you may see her...but we will keep her out of the guests space. You may see us watering the flowers or the lawn....it truly is a beautiful spot on the Kootenai River. We love sharing our special place on the Kootenai River with all of our guests.
