The main apartment is on the 3rd floor: huge and open living room, dining area, kitchen, bathroom, laundry and a good size bedroom with floor to ceiling bookshelf/cloth racks. The view from living room window is stunning! Spacious office at 2nd floor with a lot of exposure to sun. Reserved parking spot is available upon request at booking. It may not be available if it's not requested on the same day of booking the reservation. Guest access Guests will have access to this apartment and one parking spot by the house (parking must be reserved at booking and is free for stays under 15 days, $10/day for stays of 15 days or more, capped at $250/month) Other things to note 0. We've been upgrading fire alarm in the building and installing sprinkler in the basement recently. Because of this work, The front yard is fully dug up and open, The front patio has been removed and will be rebuilt, there has been no impact to the interior of this unit. We have been hosting guests here and guests stayed so far were not bothered by the project. We may need to get in the unit when we rebuild the porch and we will for sure to give you head notice 1. This unique and beautiful apartment is on the 3rd floor in a building on top of Mission Hill, with steep stairs inside the unit from the 2nd to the 3rd floor. Please be ready to climb up the hill if you are not driving. 2. The stairs inside the apartment are between the bedroom and bathroom, so please be careful when walking at night in the dark. 3. The bathtub is elevated and higher off the ground than standard tubs, which may be challenging for guests with mobility limitations. 4. The ceiling on the kitchen counter is tiled. If you are 6' or taller, you might want to pay attention so you won't bump your head on the ceiling 5. There is no TV and no dishwasher 6. If you need parking, please request it at the time of booking. Parking requested within 7 days of check-in is not guaranteed. Parking is free for stays under 15 days. For stays of 15 days or more, parking is $10/day, capped at $250/month. 7. Definitely NO smoking or drug use inside or outside the property. 8. No animals of any kind are allowed on the property for allergy and sanitary reasons. 9. You are encouraged to sip coffee and enjoy the view of Boston quietly from the balcony. But no partying is allowed in this place. Please do not book this apartment to host a party or event. You will be asked to leave immediately if you do so. 10. There is one queen bed in the bedroom. We can set up a total of 4 queen beds and host up to 8 guests. The default bed arrangement will be 1 queen bed for 1-2 guests, queen bed + queen sofa bed (or queen air mattress on 2nd floor) for 3-4 guests, queen bed + queen sofa bed + queen air mattress for 5-6 guests, queen bed + queen sofa bed + two queen air mattress for 7-8 guests. Please specify special bed arrangements if the default arrangement does not fit your party. If 2 beds are requested for 2 guests, there will be an additional $30/night fee (capped at $90 per stay). 11. Cleaning available during stay at the guest's cost 12. Window and portable AC units are available from Memorial Day to Labor Day. They are removed the rest of the year to allow for more space and natural light. 13. The in-unit washer and dryer are compact and best for small loads. If you need to do a larger load, you can request access to the standard-size machines in the basement.
