Kintla Cabin at the Mercantile

Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique place.Our premier cabin, the Kintla Cabin is located on the end of Bakers’ Row and features a deluxe queen bed and is perfect for a couple seeking a romantic getaway. Each cabin offers a historic piece of Polebridge. Cabins are rustic, which means no running water inside but there is a full-service bathhouse with running water, flush toilets, showers, and baby changing stations. The bathhouse is walking distance from the cabins. The space Cabins are rustic! Guests need to walk a short distance to use the public bathroom. There is not a refrigerator in the cabins. Cabin Location: The cabins are located on the Polebridge Mercantile and Bakery campus. THE POLEBRIDGE MERCANTILE IS NOT IN GLACIER NATIONAL PARK (WE ARE 1 MILE AWAY). WE ARE ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT RESERVATION FROM COLUMBIA FALLS VIA MT 486 YEAR-ROUND. What's on the Polebridge Mercantile campus? -Polebridge Outfitters. Rent electric bikes, stand-up paddleboards, single/double inflatable kayaks. Rentals include safety equipment and wetsuits if the weather necessitates. -Sasquatch Grill, Food Truck is open for Memorial Day - Labor Day, typically from 11AM-7PM. -Polebridge Mercantile and Bakery, 7AM-9PM, Daily! Food includes an array of sweet and savory pastries, hot and cold sandwiches, and pizza starting at 2pm. -Basketball hoop, cornhole, picnic tables, and volleyball court. - Food is available for purchase from 7AM-9PM, daily. -$10.00 breakfast voucher is included in guest's nightly rate. Guest access About the Mercantile cabins! 1) The bathroom is outside the cabin and a short walk away. The bathroom is public for all customers during the day. At night the cabin is shared with other guests residing in three rental cabins on the property. 2) There is no refrigerator in your cabin but a stove and pots and pans. 3) Each cabin has a private deck, picnic table, and fire pit. 4) The Nightly rate includes a $10 dollar bakery voucher for breakfast. 5) There is no additional guest charge for children. 6) No dogs/pets are allowed in Polebridge Mercantile rental cabins. 7) No smoking inside the cabins. Please smoke in designated smoking areas. There is a $200.00 fee for smoking inside the rental cabins. 8) The cabins have power. 9) Water is available from an outside spigot. There is a 5-gallon water jug with spigot that makes for a great faucet for rinsing. A wash basin and a grey water bucket are also provided. 10) Cabins have wood stoves for warmth, propane stoves for cooking, and coolers for cold storage. 11) Cabins are RUSTIC 12) WIFI is ONLY available inside and in close proximity outside of the Mercantile. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. 13) There is a land line phone available for emergency use inside the Mercantile. 14) Food is available for purchase from 7AM-9PM, daily. Food includes an array of sweet and savory pastries, hot and cold sandwiches, and pizza. Pizza is served starting at 2pm. The Sasquatch food truck is open for lunch and dinner. Call or email the mercantile for hours of operation. 15) There are horses, dogs, cats, and chickens roaming the Polebridge campus. 16) Corn Hole, basketball, volleyball, and other outdoor games available for guests. 17)Upon arrival head into the Mercantile. Staff behind the counter will greet you and provide a key, breakfast voucher, shower tokens, and a brief tour will be provided. Please arrive between 2pm and 9PM. 18) There is no cell phone service on campus and you will lose service prior to arriving on campus. Download directions to Polebridge Mercantile and bakery prior to leaving town. 19) The road can be sporty and an adventure, but you don't need 4WD to access us. Slow and steady is the best way to reach the Mercantile.
