All of our properties are 100% private (no shared spaces or hosts that are in house) so you'll have the hale all to yourself. Puamana Condos Even though hitchhiking is an approved mode of transit and we have a bus (yes just one) on island we almost always say it's good to have da car. The Garden island is chock full of nooks and crannies that you'll need wheels to get to so it's best to rent while here. The bus IS a pretty wild experience if you decide to go that route. You'll get to meet the locals but don't plan on using the bus on a tight schedule... Once it took me nearly ALL DAY to get to Lihue from Princeville when doing some test rides. Worth noting for those new to Kauai is that there are lots of fauna and flora that one may not be used to on the mainland. This is paradise for more than humans and you'll see Chickens and Roosters throughout the island, geckos (they are our friends) as they take care of other bugs that you might come across as well. We treat for pests regularly and the first couple days after treatment activity is a little higher and you may run across something. Also, be aware that this is a residential neighborhood. Please be respectful to neighbors when coming and going from the unit, and when utilizing exterior areas. Responsible party must be 21 years of age or older to rent with KREG.
