Awaken to the harmonious songs of the the birds and fall asleep to the enchanting songs of coqui frogs. Witness the magnificence of the recent volcanic events right here in this neighborhood. Enjoy the many wonders of Puna and the east side of the Big Island. The space The cottage is located in the front of our 1 acre gated property set back from the road. It is surrounded by native forest making it peaceful and private. The cottage is set up like a studio with one queen bed, a futon, kitchenette and bathroom with shower. Organic coffee, and organic condiments provided. Other things to note The cottage is a stone's throw away from the renowned fissure 8 – the largest vent that emerged during the 2018 eruption. To witness this incredible sight, a guided tour is essential, but rest assured, it's an experience well worth it! Your knowledgeable resident guide, who lived through the eruption, will lead the way, sharing fascinating firsthand accounts and ensuring your safety with their expertise in navigating the terrain.
