Vintage "Minnow for 2" Houseboat

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Most recent getaway added to our Boatel Row right here in Iowa's only island City. This vintage houseboat captures the heart of the river. She may be a little tiny, but she is a big catch. Let's reel you in with this unique cozy houseboat that sits right on the water. Complimentary kayak rentals at the lake and we also have a beach area within walking distance. The Minnow has a record player with vintage 1960's albums, games, and a retro feel. The space The cozy Minnow for two has a lot to offer. It has a twin size bed and in the living room a futon. You can cozy up on the small twin bed or have the option of the other sleeping on the futon. It can comfortably sleep 2 people. There is a bathroom with a sink and toilet, no shower. If you would like to take a shower we offer modern bath houses up at the Harbor Store. They are within walking distance and very nice. The Minnow offers, microwave, hot plate, air fryer, grill, toaster oven, toaster, coffee pot and fridge/freezer. Towels, linens, blankets, pillows, plates, silverware, cups, etc. is all there for you. The wood stove is not to be used, but adds to the ambiance of this vintage boat. You can fish right off the docks or bring your own boat for a complimentary slip. Beach and lake is within walking distance. We look forward to sharing everything the island has to offer. Other things to note Check in is at 3:00 p.m. If you are running past 5, no worries, just give us a holler and we will direct you to the Minnow on boatel Row. She is moored on " A Dock" right off the walking ramp to the left. Please always park on the left side of the road near the tree line when staying with us. There is a little road past the "A Dock sign with blue heron on it" that goes down to the docks. Enjoy your stay! Check out is 11:00a.m.
