The Bluebird House - Guesthouse in Powell County

Bluebird House is located on a 30 acre ranchette in Avon, MT. We're halfway between Glacier and Yellowstone on the unforgettable Swan Valley route. There are numerous fishing and national forest opportunities within 15 minutes. The Spotted Dog wildlife management area is only 2 miles away. Our space is a wonderful option for summer travelers, fishermen, hunters, animal lovers and other outdoor enthusiasts. It is private, but an easy 1/2 mile off the highway. The space The house is about 600 square feet of living space. Cozy and basic. There's a small yard & patio area and plenty of rangeland surrounding. We have ample parking space. You're welcome to feed our cows, yak, or birds (just ask first, we'll provide their treats) and we may have some spare farm fresh eggs to share with you for breakfast. There is one queen bed and one sofa bed in the main room. It is perfect for a family with small children. We also have a pack'n'play and a toddler mattress. Please note that Avon is a rural area. The closest grocery store is in Deer Lodge (25 minutes) and the closest gas station is in Elliston (10 minutes). Helena is the nearest micropolitan area (30 minutes). We do have a lovely café just a couple of minutes away! Guest access The entire guest house and attached patio/yard area are yours to enjoy. You are also welcome to explore the property, we just ask that you close all gates that you open and keep a distance from the cows and yak unless we are with you or there is a fence between and the animals. Other things to note Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 am.
