Under 20 min to downtown Des Moines. The space Welcome to this updated ranch style house located in the heart of Johnston, Iowa on the Northwest side of Des Moines. The driveway is extra long - large enough for your boat trailer if you’re going to Saylorville Lake which is just a short 8 minute drive, your RV or trailer. Warm furnishings and cozy linens will make you feel right at home. We provide a linen closet with towels and extra cozy blankets. Cook a meal in the well stocked eat in kitchen with nice views of a fully 6ft fenced in backyard. Sit out on the back deck to BBQ an Iowa chop or Iowa beef steak and corn on the cob. Enjoy the backyard fire pit as long as Iowa's ever-changing weather cooperates. Experience sightings of a large variety of birds and the spunky neighborhood squirrels. Downstairs there is a refinished open concept basement entertainment area with TV, foosball table and sectional couch. Around the corner you will find the laundry room with washer, dryer, drying rack and iron with ironing board. All on the main floor of this ranch style house: There are two bedrooms, both set up with their own Roku TV. There is a third, smaller, bedroom that is set up as an office/flex room, equipped with a desk and chair: We have an optional full sized air mattress that can be set up and available for use upon request. Guest access You will have access to the entire driveway and house except the small basement utility closet room that will remain locked the duration of your stay. Garage and storage shed in backyard are off limits. You will have access to the large fenced in backyard and deck area. Other things to note The driveway is partially gravel but a large section is concrete. We accept certain pets with prior approval for an additional fee at the hosts discretion. We reserve the right to deny pets at any time.
