Silsbee's Suite- Victorian Inn

Silsbee's, operated by the Daniels House, offers elegant victorian accommodations for your stay in Salem. Guests will be provided a door code for self check-in and parking is included. in addition, guests will have access to the common areas of the Daniels House including continental breakfast in our 17th century dining room and the original old hall c1667. MA Certificate #C0442062580 The space Silsbee's is operated by the Daniels House Inn and was once the barn for the Silsbee/Daniels family, it was converted to a home in 1843 and has just undergone a complete restoration that highlights Salem's 19th century voyages to China and the 'far east'. Featuring original wide-pine floors, exposed beams, victorian furnishings/decor and original brick fireplaces. Centrally located and within walking distance of historic sites/attractions, restaurants, the ocean, bars/pubs and live music. Guest access Guests will come into a common front door and enter into the Silsbee's suite located on the first floor of the home. This suite includes a newly renovated kitchen with marble counter tops, high end appliances, fully stocked with everything you will need to cook and entertain, you will have a living room with 43 in smart tv and pull out sofa bed , bathroom with tub/shower and a bedroom featuring a four poster queen bed. Hand picked victorian furnishings including wallpapers, brass light fixtures and velvet curtains. The entire first floor is yours as you relax after a long day of walking around the historic district of Salem. This suite also features a private gated back yard with outdoor dining table, perfect to relax after a long day or have a cup of coffee in the morning. During your stay Silsbee's uses a guest portal to communicate with guests and you will be sent all the information necessary for your stay including a unique door code for your access, parking instructions, house rules, discounted tickets for local attractions. We have staff next door at The Daniels House in the case that you need anything or have questions but you will have a private suite taking up the entire first floor of the home with plenty of privacy. Other things to note Breakfast is served in the Daniels House dining room c1667 located just next door. You will be given a door code to enter the front door and instructions before your check-in. We use a guest portal with a pre check-in process. You will be asked to upload a copy of your ID and answer some questions that we need to verify as per our policies and stated as rules to the lodging license issued by the town. Once the pre check-in process is complete, you will have access to our guest portal until after your stay. In the portal, you will find all the information you will need for your self check-in and stay including house rules, parking, discounted museum vouchers, early check-in requests (for an additional fee), celebration packages, tea service to your room and additional info about the Inn and Salem.
