Two Horse Farm is an 83-acre park which was a family farm in the 1900s. Several original buildings on site immerse the visitor in that history. From the time you turn onto the long private drive winding through the woods up the hill to the beautiful historic home, you will feel the stress of daily life fade away. Following Johnson County Conservation's purchase of the property a 7-acre circle in the center of the property was donated to the Iowa Tribe of Nebraska and Kansas. The space The home features one bedroom and full bathroom on the first level with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a spa tub room on the second floor. The oversized kitchen has state of the art appliances and a large island making it perfect for cooking and entertaining. There are oversized windows allowing great views of the gardens and woods while providing natural light throughout the home. Whether you are hiking the surrounding woods, enjoying the lush gardens with rare and endangered species, sitting in sunroom marveling in the view of the coy pond or headed out to Sugar Bottom Recreational Area, which boarders the property on two sides, you will thoroughly enjoy your stay and leave feeling renewed. Guest access The full property is accessible to the guest. Please not this is a public county park and the the trails open to the public so there may be other patrons on the property. Guest do have a privet fenced in backyard not open to the public.
