From its jacuzzi on the roof which is perfect for watching the sun peak over the Mission Mountains or stargazing--to it's custom bar made of burlwood grown on the property, this place is one-of-a-kind in all the good ways. Along with this unique experience, you'll also have all the standard amenities--and then some. It boasts a new propane BBQ (piped in--so no need to fill it!), Outdoor eating area that is gently lit at night, and a big fire pit for for roasting s'mores after a day of adventure. The ranch lodge has a fully stocked kitchen perfect for a quick bite before going on a hike, or creating a home-cooked masterpiece to enjoy around the farm table. This 4000 square foot space can easily hold 13 guests without feeling crowded. The master bedroom has a skylight with views of the stars, a huge picture window that looks out at the Mission Mountains, a fireplace, jetted tub, and second-floor access to the rooftop jacuzzi. The other bedrooms, all on the second floor, are decorated in themes ranging from vintage aircraft to cowboy chic. Great care was taken to design them with privacy in mind, even though there are multiple beds to a room. Surrounded by vibrant green pastures and dotted with trees, Speranza Springs is a working ranch where wild mustangs are gentled and trained, a handful of steers provide the family grass-fed beef, a new orchard produces fruit, and a brook meanders through fluttering cottonwoods. Owned by a PhD who hosts writing retreats at the ranch when it's not being used by you, the Lodge at Speranza Springs is sure to be the escape you've been looking for. Fifteen minutes to pristine Flathead Lake, 90 mins to Glacier National Park, and just an hour from 2 international airports, you'll be centrally located to all the adventure you could ask for. Five mins up the road is a convenience store. Seven minutes away is Dobson Coffee and right next door to it, Stella's with a delightful home made pastries and sandwiches. Three kayaks with paddles are available for your use on the lake, just return them when you're done. Come make our paradise your escape to Tranquility. You'll find everything you need for adventure--and if not, just ask! The owner lives on the 20 acres to care for the ranch. We won't be running tractors at 4 am, but here and there you'll hear horses and cows, and the goings-on of the family owned ranch. Guest access ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: All bedrooms are in the second floor, which is only accessible by stairs. The hot tub is on the roof via a second flight of stairs, so the property is unfortunately not well suited for those with mobility challenges. We apologize! Guests have access to the entire house, rooftop jacuzzi, patio, lawn area, horse shoe pits, firepit, and the little creek that runs through the property. The paved, circular parking area is a great place for kids to bike, play, and draw with chalk. Take a stroll along the long, paved driveway, enjoy vistas of the Mission Mountains over the split-rail fence and explore our little creek. Pet horses over the fence and enjoy watching them frolic in the lush pasture.
