Master bedroom includes a queen size bed (sleeps 2) and in suite bathroom 2nd bedroom includes a twin bunk beds (sleeps 2) and a convertible twin futon (sleeps 1). 2nd bathroom includes shower & tub. Living room includes sofa bed (sleeps 1) and seating area. Guests will have access to the entire home, backyard, and laundry area. There is typically space directly in front of the home for on street parking (FREE). Someone who’s offsite will be available as needed If you are looking to discover authentic New Orleans culture, you've come to the right place. While our property is located on the ever growing St Claude Street, we are simply a quick stroll down the back streets into the Bywater neighborhood. It's quite impossible not to fall for its charms. Walk to some of the best restaurants in New Orleans and charming coffee shops! Catch a view of the Mississippi River and downtown skyline at Crescent City Park or enjoy a night cap at a local bar. Just a quick 5-10 min drive/Uber to the Historic French Quarter and Downtown area! As in most of New Orleans, parking is on the street and very limited in front of the house. It’s shared between two rentals. If you are planning to drive or rent a car we highly recommend carpooling or limiting the cars to one. Uber/Lyft are highly recommended. For all its growing chicness, Bywater has industrial roots. The train line runs three blocks from us, separating Bywater from the Marigny. Chances are you might hear train whistles, barge horns from the river, and the bells of Blessed Francis Seelos Church at night and in the morning. Also, a friendly neighborhood rooster.
