We raised our family in this 1897 Victorian & love sharing it with guests. 3 suite-style bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, & a kitchen stocked for cooking. Fully renovated - new and modern inside a beautiful old house. Walk to library, restaurants (sushi, Thai, Italian, & more) and shops in Sudbury's village center. Near Concord, Lexington, Wellesley, Natick/Framingham, and area colleges. 30 min to Boston. Pets welcome. The space Our kids grew up here. We furnished it the way we'd want to find a rental - comfortable, uncluttered, stocked with everything you need. We bought the house in 2013, gutted it, and rebuilt everything: plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, insulation, hardwood floors, windows. We kept the historic charm like the original staircases, stained glass landing windows, pocket doors, and wraparound porches. The house is well-insulated and set back from the road. Inside, it's quiet. LOCATION: Sudbury is a small town with historic New England character. The house sits in the King Philip Historic District on Boston Post Road, the old village center. Franco's Italian is a 3-minute walk. Oishii Too sushi is across the street. Thai, Dunkin', and the town library are around the corner. Three grocery stores including a Whole Foods. premium boutique shops, and many more restaurants are a short drive. There's a rail trail a few hundred yards away, connecting to miles of trails for walking and biking. Historic Concord, Lexington, Walden Pond, Wayside Inn, and Minute Man National Park are all nearby. The kind of place where you can spend an afternoon at a farm stand or an orchard and still be in Boston in 30 minutes. Great for graduation weekends. Wellesley, Regis, Bentley, Brandeis, Boston College, and Framingham State are all 10-30 minutes away. 15 minutes to Natick/Framingham, level 99. 40 minutes to MIT, Harvard, Northeastern, and Boston University. Martha-Mary Chapel weddings are 7 minutes away. 25 minutes to Hopkinton / Boston Marathon starting line. We're 45 minutes to Gillette Stadium (Boston Stadium) and have hosted guests for concerts, Patriots games, and Army-Navy. If you're coming for FIFA World Cup 2026 matches (June 13 through July 9), Sail Boston (July 11-16), America 250, Head of the Charles, Boston Marathon, or fall leaf peeping, this is a great place to stay. BEDROOMS: The front Yellow Room is big. It spans the full width of the house, with a queen bed, two twins, a walk-in closet, and a roll-out twin on request. The Blue Room has a queen and its own private half bath. Upstairs, the master suite has skylights, two walk-in closets, and a custom shower with a Hansgrohe rain head. BATHROOMS Four bathrooms total, two ensuite. Nobody waits in line. AMENITIES Kitchen has real cookware, real utensils, quality stainless appliances, and a Technivorm coffee maker. Need a specialized appliance or serving dishes for a special dinner? Just ask - we probably have it. Samsung washer and dryer in a dedicated laundry room. 400-thread-count sheets. Board games and puzzles in the living room. Need to work? Gigabit Orbi mesh WiFi and a proper home office setup with a premium ergonomic chair. OLED TV. Keypad entry so you let yourself in. OUTDOOR SPACES The wraparound front porch seats four. Out back, a partially fenced yard with privacy fencing, mature trees, a 6-burner propane grill, picnic table, Adirondack chairs, and a historic stone wall. Two parking spots, more available if needed. Guest access Guests have access to the complete house and side yard. Guests should park in the two spaces immediately next to the house. Additional parking or parking for larger vehicles can be arranged, for fee, in parking lot behind the building. Other things to note We love pets and are are pet friendly. However, guests must disclose all pets on the reservation and must agree to pet rules, which will be provided separately if needed. A $100 pet cleaning fee (flat fee per stay) will apply to reservations with pets, in addition to the standard cleaning expense.
