Tulane & Loyola are nearby, too! •Cook Louisiana favorites in the fully stocked kitchen The space This is the private downstairs apartment of my home. Guests have their own private entrance at ground level. Inside, you will find a tastefully decorated 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with a fully stocked kitchen, living room, 2 smart TVs, and all the comforts of home. Our neighborhood is the perfect spot for traveling couples, business professionals, or solo adventurers who can sleep over for one night, explore the city for an extended weekend, or work from the apartment for weeks. Living Area: •You’ll find yourself in the living room upon entering the apartment. The living area has a sofa, chair, coffee table, and a bar cart with a 14-piece cocktail shaker set to mix your favorite cocktails, or to test your bartending skills by making the cocktail that New Orleans is most famous for - The Hurricane. •I provide a 55-inch, wall mounted, Smart TV with free live channels from Roku TV and other applications are already loaded for your viewing pleasure, once you log in (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc.). Kitchen: •The fully equipped kitchen is open to the living area and is stocked with all cookware, bowls & utensils needed to create a large meal or bake a vanilla bourbon pecan pie for dessert. • There’s an InstaPot, microwave, blender, waffle maker, toaster, full-sized refrigerator with ice maker, Zero water pitcher for filtered water, dishwasher with detergent, stove with four burners and an oven, along with a full set of pots, pans, bowls, dishware, utensils and cooking staples such as salt/pepper/Cajun seasoning/cayenne pepper/hot sauce/cooking spray, and oil. Trash bags and cleaning supplies are there if you need them. •Coffee/tea station (decaf too): A 12 cup coffee maker, a french press & a Keurig coffee machine allows you to enjoy free coffee every morning before exploring the city. Flavored/regular creamers, sugar, and sugar substitutes are also provided. •An electric tea kettle and free teas are also available. Dining Area: The bar area has comfortable seating for two and can be used as an area to meal prep or spread out for work. Bedroom: The spacious bedroom has another wall-mounted smart TV and a comfortable king-size bed with extra pillows and blankets. • There’s a desk with a lamp and chair that faces a large mirror, so you can sit down for make-up application or styling your hair. •There's a separate desk & office chair for work. •There’s also a chest with 4 drawers for folded clothes and an armoire to hang the perfect dress or suit. •If anything gets wrinkled, there’s an iron, full-sized ironing board, and a stain remover stick for accidents. •There are wall mounted surge protectors, with fast USB charging ports in EVERY room for your curling/flat irons, your computer, and cell phones/tablets. •To make you feel more secure, there is a safe for your smaller valuables. Bathroom: The 3-piece bathroom offers a tub/shower combo, robes for two, towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, cotton swabs, cotton balls, a separate make-up towels, women’s sanitary items, toilet paper, paper towels, tissue, Lysol and cleaning supplies. •There’s a “need one, take one” bin stocked with an extra hairbrush, combs, hair spray, shower caps, body sponge, Tide stain remover pin, razors, hair ties, disinfectant wipes, etc. (If you forgot something not provided in the bin, please let us know, and we’d be happy to help get it for you.) Entertainment: You can enjoy Wi-Fi that’s fast enough to work from home or stream your favorite movie on the wall-mounted 55-inch TV. • A Bluetooth speaker is also provided to hear your favorite playlist or podcast throughout the apartment. •I provide 2 bikes (with locks) for your use! Explore all the nearby restaurants and shops on Magazine St, view the dozens of mansions that adorn the tree-lined street of Charles, or hear a live set from local musicians on Freret St. •You can also ride to nearby parks, make a run to Whole Foods for groceries, CVS, Starbucks, or bike for beignets. •COVID: I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, including sanitizing high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknobs. We clean each room using extensive checklists. For those who ALWAYS travel with cleaning supplies, save space in your suitcase. I provide extra cleaning supplies if you choose to clean as you stay. •Other things to note: *Bicycles and locks are available for guests to use at your own risk. I am not liable for any injury to self/others while in use. Guest are liable for loss, damage, or theft while in use. •No parties. •Please, no smoking inside. There is a table and 2 chairs located in the BACK yard for smoking. Please be mindful of the smoke/Marijuana/cannbis smells on your person when in the apartment. There’s a covered sofa, table, and chairs for relaxing with a drink or listening to music. Other things to note Booking confirms agreement to all house rules. Smoking/vaping inside the property will result in guests paying the full amount charged to deep clean the apartment. Damages beyond normal wear are tear will be charged to the guest, to include using white towels to dye hair, broken furniture, missing dishes/silverware, etc. Registration details 25-NSTR-40081, 25-OSTR-40085
